You could probably argue that they're boots and this is coming from someone that likes the feet theory.
Also damn they're furry, it looks a little unnatural, especially on Falco.

It's not really a theory; they've been portrayed in official images with clearly robotic legs. It's just that sometimes it's canon and sometimes it's not, depending on the game.

The thing is with referencing the original Star Fox is that it was entirely retconned with Star Fox 64, including major plot elements.

Y'know, aside from the ludicrous overuse of the fuzz effect, I... Actually kinda like these designs.
I really love the designs. I wonder if we'll get a look at Star Wolf's designs soon.
Also I really want to see online dogfights comeback. It wouldn't be a deal-breaker without multiplayer, but it'd certainly be a nice addition.

I really don't know why they gave Falco so much detail, he should be almost as smooth as Slippy.
The problem I have with Falco is that his looks too much like fur and not feathers.
I like the designs but Fox's face looks messy and dirty, like he hasn't washed in weeks.
Peppy's fur doesn't look as bad.
To be fair though he ALMOST gets to use it in Wind Waker. It doesn't disassemble at his mere possession of it, and in fact it was him who completed it by stripping Link and Tetra of their respective pieces.
He was disturbingly close to getting his way that time. It was only Daphnes' quick thinking that stopped him.

They start scattered (either inside someone or physical pieces like WW or Zelda 1), must be reunited, grants powerful wishes and vanishes until convenient to come back.

Xenoblade X Limited Edition announced for the two regions who still don't have it. Honestly doesn't sound terribly special but for collectors go nuts!
Splatoon's big Friendship update made a splash! 2 new weapon types, redone maps, new music, ton of new gear and balancing changes. There's a lot to look forward to and the games now "complete" (though it's still getting a ton of updates in the future! BUY THIS GAME!)
Star Fox had some new renders showing the team released. You can see them on this thread, nothing too special.

Leaked image implies the mii fighters will also be a 3 pack deal though nothing else is known about them yet.

I guess it's because to him the means justified the end. That's definitely the most sympathetic portrayal of Ganondorf as a character. His motivation was realistic, and he seemed to genuinely care for his people and felt injustice at how they lived compared to the rest of Hyrule. Unfortunately right after that, they went straight back to "I want to take over the world because I'm evil" in Twilight Princess.
Since Wind Waker takes place after the future version of Hyrule in OoT (you know, the version where he tried to kill basically everyone and tormented everyone he didn't manage to kill), I find it a bit hard to sympathise with him. If that portrayal had been in Twilight Princess, it would have made more sense since he was struck down before he could go off genociding several spieces. Even though he was still and asshat in the child parts of OoT.
Isn't Twilight Princess the last main series game Ganondorf has been in? It'd actually be nice seeing Ganondorf return in Zelda U, but only considering the fact we haven't seen him in a while.
I say asshat, he did still put a parasite in the Grat Deku Tree while also cursing him, killing him, as well as trying to starve the entire Goron race and forcing the worshipped deity of the Zora people to swollow their princess. Ganon really is a douche.
