He just did a gag during his OoT video where he shits all over SS with no criticism. He just references the game and goes 'bad'.
[editline]29th January 2015[/editline]
SS had a huge amount of ups and downs, pretty much all the time with the entire game.
Sword fighting = fun
Memorizing enemy patterns so you have to swing in a specific direction = not fun
Fi = interesting character
Fi = FUCK YOU I FUCKING KNOW WHAT IM DOING FUCK OFF ABOUT THE BATTERIES FUCK
Area visual design = appealing
Area traversal design = i wish i had no legs
Ghirahim = yes i like
Fighting the Imprisoned 3 times = Fuck you Aonuma
SS brought a lot to the table, and it did a lot of it well (boss fights in particular were fantastic), but shit the bed with so much stuff its hard to make a satisfying opinion of it all.
Looking back, I probably got more consistent enjoyment from the DS Zelda games than I did SS.
I wonder how this works for the newcomers to the Let's Play. I am debating to go for it to try it out or not. I have like several questions to ask, but I can't seem to find a proper contact form/email.
So uh, when does the eShop update?
I NEED Metroid.

It IS the 29th...
it sucks that the new Shantae game won't be on 3ds
luckily i'll be able to pick it up on Wii U
It IS the 29th...
Not in all timezones, give it a couple hours. NOA's probably based on the west coast, like valve.

[editline]29th January 2015[/editline]
Guys, I am running out of Wii U Games.
I own Assassin's Creed 3, 4, Bayonetta 1, 2, Hyrule Warriors, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Nintendoland, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros U, Trine 2, ZombiU, Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker HD, Mighty Switch Force and a bunch of Virtual Console games.
What should I do?!??
((Hint, it's a joke, I have so many Wii U Games, actually probably more than my PS3 and 360 combined...Not as much as my PC though.))

I don't own Tropical Freeze, might pick it up when I get the money, I also want to try MP sometime so I'll pick that up later on as well.
Get MP for sure, and Tropical Freeze is the best please don't throw it in a later pile.

oh and don't miss out on wonderful 101
Playing the Hyrule Warriors DLC, man, Young Link is great. He's got that weird triforce triangle attack and it clears out keeps instantly. He also has this really cute Keaton mask animation when your magic meter is full.

Is it out in Australia?
Is it out in Australia?
Don't know. I know it's available for Europe though.
Aww man.. And NA have to wait a week.
Something I noticed is that, so far, all the new characters are beasts at clearing keeps or dealing with massive clusters of enemies (3 out of 4 use Darkness which stacks up damage like crazy).
You got Cia and here Dark Wave (1st combo) or the Mine Field (4th combo, after the flurry of whips). Volga is just death destroyer of worlds and his 4th combo just wipes the floor while making you invincible, alongside a Strong Atack able to open up any Weak Point Gauge except Giant Bosses.
Wizzro is a master juggler and a keep away. He destroys bosses in a single combo (3rd? the "spinning flurry of magic balls" move).
Twili Midna is the "beastest" of them all with most of combo attacks being giant moving hitboxes. And that one single keep-clearing Strong Attack. Oh, and it stops any enemy from attacking you if they touch it.
So from what you are saying and what is in the game already, we can assume Young Link and Tingle are going to be quite powerful allies.
Just experienced a weird glitch. So I'm playing the Termina adventure map and there is the counter at the bottom of the screen showing how many hours (turns) you have left until the Moon falls and resets all your progress. The counter went from 72 to 2 hours after one game all because I left a match halfway through.
It hasn't happened again though. But it was kinda funny seeing the Moon instantly zoom in closer to the map.
So from what you are saying and what is in the game already, we can assume Young Link and Tingle are going to be quite powerful allies.
Haven't played Tingle yet but Young Link has very short range regular attacks but his special combos can do some serious damage and his special triforce attack, where an icon of the triforce and a beam of light instantly appear out of the ground and zap enemies can nearly clear out keeps and large mobs in one fell swoop. Fierce Deity is a moving tank when he's used in battle and just like in Majora's Mask he is good against the bosses. FD can only be used when you use the focus spirit or do a finishing move on a stronger enemy or a boss but it's really easy to keep up the combos which replenishes the magic meter quickly if you're surrounded by a large amount of enemies.
Young Link's magic meter can charge itself when you play the Ocarina of Time after killing a few enemies and that saves you from smashing green vases most of the time too.
So Young link is based around using his magic meter all the time then?
So Young link is based around using his magic meter all the time then?
Mostly when you're going after keeps or bosses yeah. But his regular attacks hold up pretty well despite being very short range, not to mention his triforce attack, that shit is OP.

So excited
Downloading MPT at the moment!!
How is hyrule warriors.
??
what are some interesting regular wii games i could buy and play?
there's a lot of good wii games, what kind of genre?
I kinda wish the Keaton Mask wasn't glued to Young Link's face.
Edit:
By the way, does anyone know if Twili Midna has a chest opening animation like the other characters? Since she has no heart pieces or unlockable weapons, that means no one would ever see it even if she did.
there's a lot of good wii games, what kind of genre?
anything
mostly like stuff like not mario or zelda or other stuff i probably know about/have played them
im not into shooting games at all
I bought a Wii U today. Came with Mario 3D World installed, picked up Smash as well, and I'll buy Metroid Prime Trilogy off of the eShop sometime today. Video games are back!

The Conduit and Conduit 2
Oh my
http://nintendoenthusiast.com/news/xenoblade-chronicles-x-barely-fits-wii-u-disc/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
I didn't realized how big the Metroid Trilogy is. Now i'm gone to 5GB left on the console.
I should start shopping for a small external.
"Hardware Wizards."
After Smash Bros optimization, I am not surprised.
But to think they filled the disk to almost its capacity, how big will that game be?! I'm really happy to hear that they keep the Xenoblade formula of the world and content being of colossi proportions.
I hope they give that much content to other games, like the next Zelda. If Monolift Soft is helping the Zelda Team like they did for Skyward Sword, I hope Aonuma doesn't hold back on stuff.
I'm stocked to hear more about it, even if I ain't a huge fan of those kinds of games.
