Speaking of cross-overs; this is just one of those "wouldn't it be great if (things A and B) happened" kinda posts but...
For some reason, lately, after replaying Sonic Adventure DX, the two levels where you take on the Egg Carrier in the Tornado piqued my interest.
I kinda want to see what it would be like if Nintendo, in the next Star Fox game, had cameo/crossover missions.
Not with Sonic specifically, but it would be cool if there were special missions where team Star Fox took on a fleet with a boss ship that resembled Meta Knight's Halberd, or some of the ships from the Metroid series.
Ever since that scene in Brawl where the Halberd gets blown up, something like that has been high in my interest.

I feel that Dynasty Warriors would actually work really, really well with just the F-Zero franchise, by itself.
Imagine, Falcon Warriors: you play as your favorite bounty hunter, Captain Falcon, (or among a variety of other characters including Dr. Stewart, Samurai Goroh, Pico, Jody Summer, James McCloud, Bio Rex, Mighty Gazelle and more) and have to defeat mooks in a syndicate who are trying to take over Mute City, with villans including Black Shadow, Deathborn and Blood Falcon as bosses.

Well yesterday they sent me a survey and one of the questions was "would you watch a live action tv series?" Soooo yeah.
I just realized that I'd be hesitant with spending 20 dollars on a three poster set at the store but I'm perfectly okay with spending probably over a hundred to get one through the rewards system.
Kinda funny, but at least you get some nice games along with it.

It really feels like loading times were doubled after the recent HW patch.
I am having a hard time farming weapons, I want to find Young Link's Level 3 so I can use him without taking an hour to complete a stage. I even got Tingle's Level 3 at 4 stars already...and I don't want to play as him. I know its all random and its annoying me.

Normally I just play missions with Young Link and it tends to give me his weapons as drops. Other than that, go to the Apothecary and make a Weapon Drop Rank Up mixture to give you a better chance of getting his rank 3 weapon.

They were made as a joke based on an earlier 'ZELDA MOVIE BEING MADE' rumor. I watched them ages ago and forgot they existed, they're silly as fuck.

This isn't exactly true. Sakamoto has been involved with Metroid since the beginning, and until Other M he was doing a good job with the series. In Japan, Other M wasn't even a hit, essentially saying that they don't think he's a genius of Kojima levels and will buy anything with his name on it.
I don't know what Japan as a whole thinks of the Prime series, but they never really cared for Metroid in the first place.

For some reason, I really want Nintendo to buy the rights for the CD-i games from Philips and then remake them in their standard fashion.
From what I've read, the Japanese have this odd mindset that, when you are recogniced as somebody who creates something good, you become immune to criticism, and that includes feedback. So what may be more likely if Sakamoto does another Metroid, is that the budget would be smaller but the problems will persist.
And the guy apparently believed himself able to tell voice actors of a language he didn't speak how lines should be delivered.
Meanwhile Retro just loves the series and made awesome games. Just like they loved Donkey Kong Country; getting a series involves seeing it for what it is, rather than what only you think it should be, and for that, you need a team, not a primadonna.
And it is due time for another F-Zero. And gimme a hard rock/metal soundtrack like in X, that shaped my tastes in driving music and GX didn't feel as good.

To be fair, Sakamoto [i]is[/i] a genius, he was the director of Wrecking Crew, Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission, it's just that he should never be allowed to make a reboot the way he did, ever. He screwed up with Other M, let's just hope that he realizes [i]why[/i] he screwed up and stays true to what made Metroid exist to begin with.
It's a colossal wonder how the same man who managed to create Super Metroid, one of the greatest games to be conceived, also made Other M.
