My Wii-U's fan is pretty damn quiet, even after extended use. The disc drive is a bit louder in comparison, although I've got my console placed on a bit of flexible packing foam. That really helps to eliminate any major noise from the drive.
That would probably explain why it seems louder than usual, I was playing a game from disc when I usually play downloaded ones. When I get home tonight I'll take the disc out and see if that's what it was.
So Disney is working on some sort of Wii U exclusive.
So Disney is working on some sort of Wii U exclusive.
this is just a shot in the dark but I'm thinking that because of the proportions of the characters and the fact that each character has a circular base, it might be a NFC toy game like Disney Infinity I'm interested somewhat but honestly it's solely because I am contractually obligated to be interested in Wii U exclusives because I own a Wii U
So Disney is working on some sort of Wii U exclusive.
... For some reason, the proportions, exaggerated distinction between characters and low polycount of these instantly made me think it could be a MOBA. I don't think there's been a successful console MOBA yet, maybe Disney is trying their hand at a kid-friendly one. Definitely an untapped opportunity, and that style of game wouldn't be crippled by the lack of a precise pointer, thanks to the Gamepad's touchscreen acting as a mouse surrogate. Maybe THAT's why it's exclusive. Hmm...

This clearly seems to be the last DLC. Hopefully a sequel will soon follow.

Yeah, what a great game. Here's to hoping we get that proposed Mario Warriors or a sequel.
There's little doubt in my mind that we'll get a Hyrule Warriors 2. It's more of a matter of when than if.
That thank you for playing makes me sad [t]http://i.imgur.com/uHevRe9.png[/t]
The thank you at the end credits of games was something I always liked. It makes me sad that it's so hard to come by these days .
Many people are criticizing the decision to end DLC support for the game so soon, but personally I think it's at this point received way more content than anyone could've expected, and it's all excellent quality.
Definitely. For the amount paid, I never expected to have so much. I will definitely wait patiently for a possible sequel.
Do you think we'll see a Hyrule Warriors "Ultimate edition" that has all of the DLC together? :v: It's one of the reasons why I've put off buying the game.
Yeah, what a great game. Here's to hoping we get that proposed Mario Warriors or a sequel.
If we get a Mario Warriors, all I want is for Luigi to use the Skeleton Key (from Mario Party 2/3) as a weapon.
This clearly seems to be the last DLC. Hopefully a sequel will soon follow.
I really hope so. There's so many cool characters in the zelda franchise that it'd be a shame to not make a sequel with more characters... I mean, I can see around 50 characters that I want, and there's some really fan favorite missing : Skullkid, Groose, Saria, Darmani, mikau... I just hope that if they want to make OC like Lana or Cia, they'll make them kokiris, gorons, zora, gerudos, dekus... Something out of the zelda universe and not generic anime girl #640. Wizzro is imo the best OC hyrule warriors have, because it feels like it's out of a zelda game, while the others could fit in any jrpg really. I'm having a blast with this game and i want more !
I really hope any sequels or further Nintendo Warriors games really step up the game play. I enjoyed Hyrule Warriors for what it is, but the main campaign was painfully bland in far too many aspects. I can let the story go as the gameplay doesn't really leave room for any story telling outside of cut scenes (and the fact the game was made in part by Temco), and the OC characters are interesting enough to stay put. The worst part of the campaign was the mission, more specifically the linear nature of events each mission takes, which just comes down to "Capture this keep, wait for someone, go defeat this guy or go save this guy's ass". It just felt like the gameplay was going from set piece to set piece, where none of the battle felt like it was flowing. Sometimes (more specifically if the player character isn't around), a enemy will capture one of your keeps. That’s about as organic as the missions get, and even then its most likely due to a scripted deployment of enemy units at a specific part of the battle, so even then its intended by the developer anyway. I'm incredible thankful the Adventure Map mode was included, and while it does spice up the gameplay a bit, it still isn't terribly interesting. I understand that a lot of my complaints probably stem from the Dynasty Warriors gameplay anywhere, but it still doesn't justify the problems existences. Maybe it’s due to the WiiU's limited processing power, but the fact that normal mooks are this dumb its practically insulting to the player. I know they are there to make the player feel like a slaughtering badass, but to me at least I would prefer that they could do more than get killed/stand in a keep.
If we get a Mario Warriors, all I want is for Luigi to use the Skeleton Key (from Mario Party 2/3) as a weapon.
Every CPU Commander Luigi friendly or not just kinda walks in circles unlocking the same door over and over and not accomplishing anything. Ship it.
Thinking about it, Lana and Cia, outside of maybe being unlockables in a future game, they have no relevancy anymore. [sp]Cia died and Lana was her other half that decided to stay outside of Link's life and keep watching over the different eras.[/sp] Volga can stay because his just a mercenary that could become Link's rival in this universe. The kind of "You beat me because I was brainwashed and powered up but I'll be back stronger with my own strength", which seems cliche but it's a Warriors game. And he's a cool looking character. Wizzro too since he's just an evil spirit that exists because of the souls of the dead so staying near battlefields is a wonderful thing. So, I was wondering who could replace their fighting styles of Lana and Cia and acquire their weapon if they never come back. Of course, for Lana's weapons, they would have to change a few animations like the whole look at the camera stuff. Saria is the best candidate for the Deku Spear. There is no doubt where most of the attacks come from. Farore (Oracles of Secrets) could be a nice contender for the Book. She's just has important has the others if you want to finish the game with the true ending. Another Oracle rep, Veran, could very well take Cia's place. Bust included. And fuck the Gate of Souls. It's a weird ass weapon to use and one of my least favorite. Hell, even divide Link's weaponry to other characters. Onox (another Oracles rep) could take on the Power Gloves. I even think that the Golden Gauntlets Iron Ball is a reference to his own weapon. Yeah, I really want Oracle reps in the Hyrule Warriors. Din and Nayru have great potential. Din is a dancer and they already prove that it isn't a limit since Fi fights by dancing. Nayru could use the harp in a similar fashion to its Dynasty Warriors counterpart, where she sends waves of sound from the harp as opposed to using it for buff and traps like Sheik. Plus, they could add more masks to Young Link. It clearly was meant for him to have different masks. Goron, Zora and even Deku Link could be playable through a similar method, except Link would always be transformed instead of switching. And there is so much characters in the series that deserve a place. Auru, Ravio (with a quirky set of moves like Tingle), Malon, Ralph, Skull Kid, Yuga, Twinrova (Focus Spirit bringing the two witches together), Groose! and much more. They have a massive array of characters to choose from, it's nuts! [editline]t[/editline] Forgot to mention that both Veran and Onox are both Gerudo warriors (Onox being relatively close to a Iron Knuckle in design) has they both have the Gerudo symbol on them. Having the Mother Witches bring them back to bring forth Ganondorf once more would work as plot [sp] and it's also the Oracle games plot in the true ending. I love that series.[/sp]

Also to be fair I never had to stand around waiting or anything, I was able to zip around smashing everything pretty fast and never really had to wait for other characters outside the twilight princess maps.

I remember in DW4 on the PS2 that there were some units that actually had half a mind, and could wreck you near the end of one of the campaigns, so obviously they should be capable of programming common enemies that are smart enough to take you on by their own, without just doing ramped-up damage and having low vulnerability. And of course, with the Zelda spin-on it, they could have taken much more liberty in making the battles a bit of an adventure as well, other than "capture, kill, defend, find, escort".
Dynasty Warriors I mean* for some reason can't edit my message
Warriors game AI has the intelligence of grass and the player is the mowing machine. And it works great for a Zelda game analogy! Cut grass, get rupees!
Eh Idk I think the dlc could of been better and more of it. More story mode maps would of been nice, like playing in termina
I definitely think Volga is here to stay, he's basically the Lu Bu of the game.
I always considered Wizzro as basically an ascended Big Poe. So I'd like to see him back in some form.
Oracle representatives
As much as I'd love to see the Oracles games represented, we probably won't see any Capcom characters. So no Din, Nyaru or Farore, no Four Sword link, and no Vaati. Outside of that there's still a lot of interesting characters tho, even if it's just giving existing weapons to new characters : Malon gets the horse, Demise becomes a ganon clone, Ravio the Fire Rod, Saria the Deku Spear, the Great Fairy becomes it's own character, Darbus/dangoro gets the Gauntlet&chains, Ashei gets the spinner, Medli gets the baton. Rauru could get the Summoning Gate, being the sage of time and all. There's a lot of possibility ! Also, rate me rainbow but that's what I want from a sequel :
If Nintendo was able to acquire Megaman, a popular and iconic character from Capcom, into Smash, I can totally see one-timers have their chance in a spin-off of the series. Still, outside of those games you mentioned, there is plenty more. And let's not forget that there is also a new game coming that could contribute to adding characters. If Zelda U introduces a bunch of new lovable characters, they could appear in the next one, either right off the bat or as DLC.

The yeti from TP for example or the fact there are now 4 zora's. There's only so much you can do, like Ruto could be the spell caster and Mikau/Zora Link has kung fu but that's about it. The silent guardian and black haired whats-her-face from TP are also completely unremarkable in every way, the first one isn't even a character really. Wouldn't mind Deku King/Deku Princess though.
