Linebeck GOAT
I'm, full stop, perfectly okay with Nintendo Warriors, or at least guest characters in HW2. We'd better get a sequel and quick, though to be fair I haven't quite gotten all of the content in the regular, game is kinda too hard for me to unlock anything :v: I've barely played through any of the subsequent adventure maps.
neat donkey kong country 1 2 and 3 are discounted for me
i have the wii versions thats why
how nice of them

I believe Tecmo-Koei and PokemonCo's vice execs were both okay with the idea of "Pokemon Warriors"
Likely the human characters being playable (protagonists like Red or Calem, villain leaders like Giovanni or Ghetsis, other notable figures like Oak, Wally, etc), with one of their signature pokemon, and battling/capturing hordes of wild pokemon instead of slaughtering waves of enemies.

It'd be amazing if the plot for such a crossover was that it was a sequal (or reimagining) of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

Eh, I can't see it. Like I'm trying to picture a pikachu hitting a bunch of ratata or something and they all explode into pokeballs
Just imagine how dumb that would be, and imagine the poor lab owner that has to sort 1200 ratata every 30 minutes.

The plot would probably revolve around a new villain gaining control over Hoopa, using it to grab valuable pokemon from across time and space to corrupt to their will. In the process though, they also unwittingly pull in a dozen or more of the best pokemon trainers the universe has ever known, all with one goal in mind: defeat, capture and restore as many of their corrupted pokemon as possible, and claim Hoopa for their own individual reasons (Oak wants to study it to understand its dimensional tunneling capabilities, Giovanni wants to sell it to the highest bidder and become the richest man alive, N just wants it set free, etc).
This could ALSO be the way to obtain Hoopa in X/Y/OR/AS. Complete the story (capping off in an epic duel against the Unbound form), and the elusive legendary is yours to keep.
Eh, I think Mario would be the way to go really. Gives a excuse to get RPG characters revived and I can easily see Mario stomping a bunch of goombas and coins rain out

Linking into the story I proposed, you're not catching them just to catch them, you're capturing them for reasons similar to XD and Colosseum; The big bad has brainwashed them and turned them wicked, and you're taking them back to purify en masse, weakening them with your signature pokemon and then throwing dozens of pokeballs to capture the lot of them.
Capturing lots of them makes your special attacks stronger in the short term, since you're using them in the attacks, and specific ones become a sort of currency between missions, returning named pokemon found amidst the crowds to their grateful original owners and reaping huge rewards from doing so. ("Oh! You've rescued -name-, my precious -species-! I can't thank you enough! Please, take this -item/upgrade- as thanks!")
I bought the first DKC as soon as I saw it was available. I'm glad Nintendo finally decided to make it available for the US!
I bought my Wii U off a friend a while ago after his little siblings didn't touch it for a long time. I had no idea how to system reset it so I just made a new account and ignored theirs, but there's still parental lock (but I worked around it by figuring out the code) and I can't remove their accounts because they made it the primary one, I ignored it and played some games until last night I finally connected online to go to the E Shop but now I'm seeing that they had it set to a different region, so all the prices are for that region as well as the time zone.
Is there anyway I can reset this without losing my progress with my games?
tiny spoilers...

[sp]apparently you unlock it by getting A ranks in Ganon mode missions[/sp]
Anyone want to bet its a Link weapon?

Probably a character, since it's the same sprite as the other characters on the "thank you for playing" trailer

You need to contact Nintendo and have them unlink your friend's account.
I bought the Hero of Hyrule pack for HW a few weeks ago, was wondering, wasn't it supposed to include the OOT/SS/TP costumes for Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf? Do I have to unlock them somehow in-game or are they not included in that DLC?

I believe they're separate.
Enough HW. How about some Xenoblade?

Some of the day/night and weather cycles in action.

Jesus fuck those environments are huge. Even compared to the original Xenoblade those are massive.
the armour choices are looking pretty cool too
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but when they brought the Donkey Kong Country games to the Wii U shop, they also relisted them on the Wii Shop as well. As far as I know, this is the first time a game has been relisted on the Wii VC since the Wii U came out.

I wonder why they were taken down.

God DAAAAAAAAAMN this game looks a-fucking-mazing, looking forward to its release.
One of my fears was the XC:X was TOO big. As in, the world wouldn't have enough in it, thus making it a chore to get around.
But since you have vehicles and so many monsters everywhere it seems we won't have to worry about that.
XC:X is probably the hypest game for me right now
I mostly want to buy it for the music.
This is still my favorite Miiverse post ever.

So are Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3 as good as the first? I've only ever played the first before and was seeing about getting the other two on the eshop.
