I already own the Prime Trilogy, but I'm super thrilled to hear it's being released again for so low. Now more people can enjoy this amazing series.

I think it's because it's constructed as a "traditional" Mario, as in, here's a bit of tiny story and HOP into gameplay!
It also throws the prequel's story out the window but adds more stuff and Yoshi.
Basically, it's 1 with a few improvements and new features.
We can safely say that this is one step closer for Gamecube games on the Eshop.

Actually, I was expecting Kafei and Anju to be a Link and Zelda costumes.
But we got OoT Shiek and Impa. Skull Kid is someone's costume, people are speculating that it's Lana.
Could be Zelda or Link too... Doesn't have much curves tho.

He's Termina's Link. Just give him Young Links moveset and done.

People speculated back in the day that Kafei was Termina's Link, especially since he has the same rigging in the game. Kafei is programmed like Link for that ne part of the game.
He could have been there to replace Young Link as a character.

Yeah sorry.
He has a similar story to that link to, as in being a adult and forced back to being a kid. He's playable like Link, has similar hair and same attraction to masks. I'm sure there's more but I'm super tired right now and that's all I got.
In HW Link has like 8 weapons. This is yet another albeit in a tiny babby body. Just let them get creative and make FD Kafei or something.

They could have giving a two-handed sword to Link and add Darkness and he would have access to all elements. Giving him a Fierce Deity costume to top it off.
Maybe Young Link and Tingle (and maybe Twili Midna) will have costumes scattered on the new map. Maybe one of them could be Kafei (or a reference to him). Same goes for the others.
But I'm perfectly fine with their choices. Hyrule Warriors seems like their way to be more creative and free the crazy weird characters like Tingle into the wild.
I mean, the expressions, the poses, the animations. They are golden. Tingle beats everyone else in terms of personality just with his face.
I was iffy about Splatoon before, but between the loadouts and the customization I really want it now.

Why is Skull kid, the primary antagonist of MM, not playable outside of a skin. What the fuck.
I don't really care too much about Skull Kid but I was hoping for Happy Mask Salesman. Not that I'm surprised he's not playable.

It isn't right. More power to you if you like tingle and young link. But it seems like a slap to the face to MM fans to just make Skull Kid a costume for a charecter that wouldn't even fit the personallity of Skull Kid.
With eshop wii games announced I'm hoping for game cube games being on wii u eshop.

I'd recommend both, but they follow the same story line so go for Galaxy 2 if you can't get both.

Returns runs in 60 fps on wii as to where it's 30 for 3ds, if that sways you one way or the other

3DS. It has better controls and its always on the go. The Wii one had wonky controls that would sometimes get in the way. I really enjoyed the 3DS version.
I have the feeling they kept skullkid in order to sell a potential HW2. I'd think that he's the second most wanted antagonist after Ganondorf. I think Tingle and Young Link will be fun to play, but I'm still gonna really miss skullkid. And having it as a Lana costume is even worse...
We really need a HW2 with a bigger cast, and less weapons per characters.

Less? We need more. Everyone but Link, Zelda, Lana, and Impa have only one weapon. Impa has 2.
