Plus, let's not forget that each weapon feels like playing a new character (except Link Hylian and Master Sword) I still wish Link didn't get that much stuff. Each weapon could have been wielded by its own character. I remember thinking all character would get 3 weapons each. How naive was I!
Epona should have been ridden by Malon.
Less? We need more. Everyone but Link, Zelda, Lana, and Impa have only one weapon. Impa has 2.
I mean less weapons per characters so we could get more of them. Basicly strip Link of the gauntlet, give it to Dangoro/Darbus, give the rod to Ravio, make the fairy it's own character, give the spear to Saria, Epona to Malon/Cremia, that kind of stuff. It's like, free characters, just need a model and sound swap. Less overall weapons per characters, but way more characters. Imagine the gorons having access to fire with the hammer(Danuria), electric with the gauntlet(Darbus), and Darkness or water with the Drums of Sleep(Darmani). That's just one new weapon, but 2 new characters ! Or the zoras have water with ruto, electric with mikau, Light? with Rutella. I just think it'd be pretty easy to do more characters, and it's not like balance is important in those kind of games :v: TBH I was expecting Skullkid as a playable characters using the transformation mask for some creative designs and majora for focus spirit. That would have been cool to see. If they do a HW2, and judging from the huge cast of the other muso games, here's some characters I think could have unique and fun playstyles : Twilight Princess : Barnes, Darbus, Rutela, Hero's Shade, Dangoro, Yeto Skyward Sword : Beedle, Groose, Karane, Scervo, Batreaux, Demise Majora's Mask : Skullkid, Darmani, Mikau, Cremia, Dampé, Kafei, The Buttler's Son, Igos Du Ikana, Ocarina Of Time : Nabooru, Saria, Rauru, Malon Wind Waker : Laruto, Fado, Quill Handheld : Byrne, Alfonzo, Linebeck, possesed darknut, Vaati, Din, Nyaru, Farore, Ralph, Ravio
If we got Agitha....and Tingle. Then Malon would have been an amazing addition. The Great Fairy should have been her own character as well. She is only a weapon because they wanted to make a "lol Link is in a bottle" joke.
I'm still bummed over no SMTxFE information.
I know this sounds pessimistic but I honestly think its been cancelled at this point, there hasn't been any news for years which is a shame because I lost my collective shit on the reveal trailer
I know this sounds pessimistic but I honestly think its been cancelled at this point, there hasn't been any news for years which is a shame because I lost my collective shit on the reveal trailer
They confirmed back during the summer time that it was still on track. I think Nintendo just jumped the gun and announced it literally as soon as it was conceptualized.

How long is SMG2 on sale for?
How long is SMG2 on sale for?
1 week.
I thought it was agreed upon that the title of the next thread would mention underage squidgirls?
Not sure whether I should buy with my $30 I have the Hyrule Warriors season pass thingo or Mario Galaxy 2. Or I could wait for Metroid Prime/Punchout.
I guess adding Wii games to the Virtual Console is pretty nice and all, but I would have preferred Gamecube games instead. The Wii U is backwards compatible after all, so you could still play these Wii games if you had a retail copy, but not for Gamecube. The only advantage I see to this is for Metroid Prime Trilogy due to its ridiculous rarity, but that's it really. And on top of that, they're just direct ports, not even at least upscaled. I still have my retail copy of MPT, so I might as well just stick with that.
I guess its for the people that were not able to get a hold of certain Wii games. MPT is a blessing to a lot of people.
I know this sounds pessimistic but I honestly think its been cancelled at this point, there hasn't been any news for years which is a shame because I lost my collective shit on the reveal trailer
Normally I am an incredibly pessimistic and cynical person, though to me that's just being "realistic", but at this point I am thinking they might be holding off until E3 to show off something of it. If there's nothing there, then I'm going file it under the "cancelled" category, be bummed for a bit, and move on to something else. It's a bit of a bummer because it's a big part of why I bought my Wii U, but I've also got enough enjoyment out of it with the other games I own that it definitely hasn't been a waste.
DId anyone seen the new xenoblade chronicles x trailer? Getting hyped!!
DId anyone seen the new xenoblade chronicles x trailer? Getting hyped!!
yeah those environments are beautiful the only problem is its mostly stuff we already know some more plot details could have been nice
I thought it was agreed upon that the title of the next thread would mention underage squidgirls?
V3 can be have 'Squidgirls with Hats' in the name.
I have a feeling the next one will still be V2 :v:
Well, buying Prime Trilogy again. Because those are games that deserve my money, unlike the more recent game of the series.
I missed the Direct, they're releasing the Metroid Prime Trilogy again? Yissss, now I can finally play the second and third one. I loved the original Prime.
Yeah, I might pick it up. I finished it before tho it was borrowed from a friend but holy shit do the motion controls really immersed me. I just wanted to keep playing it over and over. It was quite a experience and I hope we get something similar in the future.
I swore to myself to buy less from Nintendo and focus more on other consoles/PC releases this year... well fuck that! Nintendo is winning my heart again!
I figured that the Wii VC rereleases would be full price or something but apparently they're only ~10 dollars (with the discount)? That's a pretty fucking awesome deal.

I'm really excited for Splatoon, it looks really fun.
Crossing fingers for a shotgun-esque weapon. And that paintbrush looks deadly!
Splatoon looks like 'having fun' was the very central mechanic of every part of the game.
Also the whole appeal to new players to shooter games. Oh you can't hit your opponents? SHOOT THE GROUND, WALLS AND (maybe) CEILLINGS! I think the whole concept works well because you not only have to slow down your enemies by shooting them, your main objective is to cover as much territory as possible. You have a main and many little sub stuff you can do to win a match. And by the looks of the E3 matches they showed, it can make for pretty close matches!
I've still got my fingers crossed, hoping beyond hope, that Splatoon will have some sort of local multi-player VS. mode. (Although I remember something about local co-op, so that's fantastic.)
Aww man. I just realised something by watching the Majora's Mask DLC part of the direct that Young Link's element is darkness. Damn overused element. I mean, makes sense since Fierce Deity is supposed to be a dark being but sheesh! That's nine weapons using that element! Thinking about it, if Skull Kid would have made the cut, it would have been another darkness user. Just a "meh" moment I had. I wonder if Tingle will have a special mechanic involving rupees... That greedy bastard.
