Holy shit, this could totally be a coincidence but if the leak is real I'll be pretty damn happy. There's some great stuff in that alleged leak.
Woe is me, Europe's Club Nintendo has Super Mario 3D World's soundtrack available to get, I have 1400 stars, it is 2000 stars.
If there is any kind Australian out there, could you give me any codes you haven't used so I can grab a copy.
It looks like 3000 stars from here. I have 2050...
The Wii mini was good for casuals who wanted to save a bit of money and didn't care about GCN games and didn't want to buy motion plus remotes separately.
If I for some reason needed a Wii, I'd probably get the mini since Nintendont would enable me to play most (or all) of the GCN games I care about anyways. And with the Classic Controller no less :v:
iirc wii minis dont have an SD slot making them impossible to softmod
I can barely contain my excitement for tomorrow's Direct. It's been a long time coming, and I'm ready to be blown away again!
I'm pretty sure the big 4chan leak was proven wrong with "widescreen n64 games" (even emulators can't do that) and "ganondorf unlocks a new weapon in hyrule warriors" (the last patch was the Ganon Pack), as well as the guy who made it came out and said it was fake (don't quote me on that though).
What we will be getting, however, is Splatoon, Wooly World, Mario Maker, Devil's Third (the stream is age locked), Mewtwo DLC, possibly even the sticker thing from Japan.
Don't forget Starfox. That's supposed to be out this summer.

They're getting blasted by a huge amount of traffic right now.

really cant wait till splatoon! Last I heard is that it's been bumped up from a downloadable title to a full boxed release, is this true?

''And now let's take a look at the new F-Zero game. Just kidding, it's an update for Pokemon Shuffle.''
You know what would be amazing? A double fake-out on something really hype.
"New F-Zero! Just kidding, have this unrelated thing."
> trailer plays and looks convincing, but halfway through it turns into an F-Zero UX trailer

then it turns in to a triple take and its f-zero DLC for pokemon shuffle
you're killing me dermock
If they even did a F-Zero fake-out, wouldn't it make more sense to have it lead into the Animal Crossing DLC for MK8?
You know, Nintendo kind of put gaming news websites in a bad spot this year. They'll want to post silly articles about how Jimmy Carter will be playable in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC that's exclusive to the Wii Mini, but now they also have to somehow cover the legitimate info from the Nintendo Direct at the same time. People who didn't watch the Direct won't know which headlines are real and which are jokes. :v:

And the only way to get the real info is to watch the entire Direct. Nintendo wins.
Apparently according to the japanese stream, it'll be about 30 minutes long. Apparently, however, it said this for the Smash Direct, which was 47 minutes, so I dunno.

30 minutes is just the default they put on there

WRONGO Project 64 supports true widescreen in N64 emulation. It's probably still fake but true widescreen is absolutely a possibility.
Project 64 running OOT and SM64 in true wide screen mode:

Minor graphical glitches can occur (e.g. overlays not covering the entire screen), but they're very minor and overall the true widescreen looks much better than stretched. The GUI also sits where it would be in 4:3 mode.
On the flip side, Nintendo uses a specialized emulator for every VC game and has access to the game's original source code, so fixing the GUI and minor graphical glitches should be relatively trivial for them. Project 64 could potentially implement similar fixes at some point as well, but doing it on a per-ROM basis is more difficult for a small team of people working on a general emulator.
club nintendo australia has the kirby triple deluxe and super mario 3d world soundtracks up for order, 1500 and 2000 stars respectively
which should i get? haven't played triple deluxe yet, is it's music particularly noteworthy? cus 3d soundtrack is fun i guess
I was hoping for physical rewards to send Club Nintendo out with a bang, but these selections are fine too. I can't decide if I want Tropical Freeze or Mario Galaxy 2.
Only got to gold this year, however i would of gotten Metroid Fusion ether way so not that big of a deal.
Gee it sure is boring around here...

A++ website nintendo

My platinum status feels kind of wasted on me since the only games I want are gold.
And almost all 3DS. I think im going to get Animal Crossing again. Or DK. idk.
My platinum status feels kind of wasted on me since the only games I want are gold.
My Gold feels lackluster because all I wanted was a platinum reward. Too many 3ds games for Gold reward, and I don't own a 3ds.
