the binding of isaac: rebirth will be coming out on the wii u (as well as the 3ds) sometime in the future https://twitter.com/tyronerodriguez/status/583524837538299904 i guess nintendo finally caved on their "no religious content" policy
If it's n3DS exclusive, I hope the Cstick is decent at controlling Ludovico. Buttons to aim are fine for everything except that.
200CC N64Rainbow Road, it's gonna be like 30sec :v:
They should totally remove the 1 lap restriction on that course for 200cc.
I think I saw a pegasus turn into a robot super pegasus and that is the only Fire Emblem thing I saw there.
Well... I watched the trailer at almost a frame-by-frame rate, and I noticed a few minor things. First of all there are posters of Tiki here: [t]http://i.imgur.com/NskQ0sd.png[/t] And she appears for about 2 frames here: [t]http://i.imgur.com/eOJyepv.png[/t] And this enemy's garb looks strikingly similar to the "Dark Knight" class from Awakening: [t]http://i.imgur.com/VbBDjPR.png[/t] There might be a few things I missed, but those really stood out to me.
Stuff
The characters they show throughout kinda remind me of Shadow Dragon characters. The sword guy is Marth, red haired dude is Cain, and the girl with the pegasus would be Caeda. They would all fit with Tiki since she was in that one as well as Awakening.

Well thanks to certain methods on /v/ that I didn't bother to save (basically View Source on the page where Wario is an asshole while trying to get an order in, and then find the direct link to the order page in the source), I finally got my order through. Earthbound's gonna be a fun game.
Would you rather see this piece of shit? [t]http://www.smashbros.com/images/og/luigi.jpg[/t]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/gQy887z.jpg[/t] y u mak wij crie?
I just heard someone argue that Zelda U wasn't even for this year at all, and that they only said it at the VGX to get more sales of the wii u before "delaying" it. Just...what? Even if you disregard the reason Aonuma gave last friday, if you were holding out for a Zelda for your console, you would buy a wii u at the time of release, maybe at the time of an announce date, but not at a event stating the year. That just seems silly, in my mind. [editline]3rd April 2015[/editline]
I'm crossing my fingers that they're going to release Mother 3 on the eShop along with the Lucas DLC for Smash. I want my official Mother 3.
I mean, Lucas does release in June- maybe at E3 they'll rerelease it on the virtual console to get people a feel of it.
People bought a WiiU just for Smash Or new Zelda game People bought a Xbox for Halo or Forza. It's a very weird decision to make but they do it all the time
People bought a WiiU just for Smash Or new Zelda game People bought a Xbox for Halo or Forza. It's a very weird decision to make but they do it all the time
i got my wiiu for windwaker so thats true

I got my PS3 for MGS4. It ended up being the only game I got for PS3 :v:
I mainly bought the WiiU for Zelda but my gf wanted to play coop Mario games so we ended up with it. Now she loves Captain Toad
I got my PS3 for MGS4. It ended up being the only game I got for PS3 :v:
Worth it.
Im torn between NES Remix 2 and DK Cranberry Freeze. I play DK when it came out and sucked at it but i liked the game and NES Remix 2 seems like it would be a lot of fun.
I just noticed, there was no Xenoblade X anywhere in the direct. Nintendo please, I want to fly in giant mechs.
I just noticed, there was no Xenoblade X anywhere in the direct. Nintendo please, I want to fly in giant mechs.
That's getting it's own direct later on in the month, actually- focusing all about the mechs!

It's apparently a super tight platformer with a lot of charm to boot. They even got David Wise (the composer of DKC 1-3) to do the soundtrack. Also, NES Remix 2 is like, 15 bucks on the Eshop version.
So which ended up selling more, smash or mario kart?
So which ended up selling more, smash or mario kart?

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U became the fastest-selling Wii U game in the U.S., with 490,000 physical and digital copies sold during its first three days of availability, beating the record previously held by Mario Kart 8. By the end of 2014, the number sold had increased to over 1.3 million. "The AI's harmless," they said. "No one should ever complain about the AI on 50cc," they said. Then while item boxes give me nothing but coins and banana peels, my first run at a cup on MK8, 50cc, leads to Blue Shells every minute, especially before the finish line. :suicide:

To put it blunt, I skipped MK8 because MK7's 150cc felt too slow, and 8's demo was about the same. Maybe it's an illusion because of bigger levels, but I still passed it up. Now with 200cc I might actually give it a shot. I wonder if that'll be playable online.

But IIRC doesn't online with strangers only do 150CC? I don't remember there being an option of speed with online.
But IIRC doesn't online with strangers only do 150CC? I don't remember there being an option of speed with online.
I'm pretty sure they could implement a "play 200cc" button, and match you up with other people who want to play 200cc. However, I feel like it might be rough finding people to play with if you only have one DLC pack and not the other, but I'm pretty sure they did implement a feature to match people up with other people who had the DLC and match those who don't have it with others who don't.
Hopefully they add a "turbo" league you can opt into for online random play, which is 200cc. [editline]3rd April 2015[/editline] Also the 200cc thing is a free and mandatory update, so that's not a worry.
Eurogamer did a tech analysis on Splatoon. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-first-look-at-splatoon-tech-analysis [sp]720p with no AA, near-flawless 60fps with drops to 59/58[/sp]
Anyone techy enough to explain why MK8 and Splatoon have single frame drops? [editline]4th April 2015[/editline] I understand the method of limiting frames to achieve a consistency (i.e there can be more than 60 frames rendered in a second, but it prevented from doing this for a consistant framerate). I don't understand why it might only have 1-2 frame drops, unless it was really pushing the limit of what can be rendered to the absolute maximum.
It has something to do with cpu players i think, but I don't know the details. I know that online MK8 is 60 fps until a cpu joins at least.
