I'm not sure whose behind these teams but if you collect some good devs yeah you can get a true to form game, I don't see this happening very often though, sadly, except in rare cases, or when they have the original person(s) involved
sadly microsoft seems to be hiring people with ideas of their own that don't fit at all and that's killing it
the nuts and bolts remake more than anything just seems like a game that had the banjo IP slapped onto it

I want this more than anything, Bomberman 64 had an amazing singleplayer and some of the most engaging multiplayer of any bomberman game
The 'sudden death' conditions on courses like having the water rise or walls close in were pretty hectic. I remember beating 3 other kids at after-school care at a game of Bomberman 64 when it was the 3 of them against me, LOL.
the best part was how the game handled players being out after being exploded. You became a ghost and could pick up un-pumped bombs, items, and other players if they're stunned, and then you could throw said player off the stage, into hazards, or into explosions.
It was fucking awesome.
I never played Bomberman growing up, but did anyone ever play "Wario Blast"? Basically, it was a gameboy Bomberman game, featuring Wario.
Perhaps Nintendo could make a sequel of their own?
Also, provided we do see a new Bomberman game, it would be pretty great on the Wii U, since as shown by Smash 4, the console can handle 8 players locally.
I hope Nintendo doesn't take long to put Mario Party 2 on the Wii U so I can break some friendship.

Fun fact: It's literally a westernization of Bomberman GB which allows you to replace Bomberman's sprites with Wario's.
It's also the first game to feature Wario's motorcycle and cemented his fondness of explosives.

They probably thought you were/that guy was linking to a warez ROM. Even if it's just the translation patch, it requires a ROM, and ROMs are [I]far more often that not[/I] illegally obtained. Especially since Mother 3 was only released in Japan.
