Wow, clearly the GBA has better graphics than Mk8
[editline]15th April 2015[/editline] Imagine getting Bullet Bill in this track.

I genuinely wasn't expecting the course to actually have the same layout (more or less)
Still no code aaaah

delete this [editline]15th April 2015[/editline] real talk, this next dlc for mk8 looks fantastic and i hope nintendo does more guest characters/tracks/etc in future mario kart games.
Kirby and Dedede are such a obvious fit it kills me they aren't already in
That's why I vote for a Nintendo Kart. Think of all the cool items and maps each character has to offer. I Love Mario kart and own all of them but hey I also like new ideas

No one will know what Nintendo Kart is, but they already know what Mario Kart is.
Most of the non-platformer Mario games would be better as all-star games. Nintendo Kart, Nintendo Party, Nintendo Tennis/Football/Whatever, Nintendo Maker. Still wouldn't work. People have a hard enough time understanding what a New 3DS is, let a lone a Wii U. Why change something that is already well known? Changing it would be terrible. [editline]15th April 2015[/editline] The whole "Nintendo *game here*" idea sound great to people who already know Nintendo and their franchises, but there is a large amount of people who don't follow them as closely as you do or have no idea who Nintendo even is. I constantly have to tell people Mario is a Nintendo property, educate people on the differences between a Wii and Wii U, and don't get me started on the New 3DS.
Call it "Mario and All Stars Racing"
Call it "Mario and All Stars Racing"
"Mario and Sonic Go Racing"
I decided to dredge up all of the stars I could get my hands on when I was registering with Club Nintendo to get the Mewtwo code. The selection might be shit but I did get the one thing worth getting.
That's why I vote for a Nintendo Kart. Think of all the cool items and maps each character has to offer. I Love Mario kart and own all of them but hey I also like new ideas
Already pointed it out a few pages back. it's modern times, Mario Kart gets by because of the Mario IP, but it's one of the more major spinoffs that has more sales than Party and Smash combined, and even then; Smash has 4/5 games with 1 per generation whilst Mario Party has 14 (? E-reader if it counts. DS, GBA, ect). the whole stigma against a Nintendo anything might just be because of lack of brand awareness in the public eye. So the Wii X series started off good with Sports and Party/Play, but then it started to get a bit long-winded with Chess...then murdered itself with Music. Wii Fit on the other hand got large response from non-gamers during the whole casual phase. Nintendo attempted to do the Wii Sports thing again by bundling a game with Wii U consoles that would best show off the gamepad and wii remote plus by calling it Nintendo Land. maybe to distance itself as something unique, rather than a "device" you buy for a Wii that just happens to have a game. (earlier days, less savvier people thought the gamepad was just a controller for the Wii called the Wii U...) If Nintendo does decide to go slightly in that direction, hopefully they keep the DLC sizes the same, maybe show some slight restraint about how loose directions would be with DLC. so Kirby/Dedede would be ok in Kart since the artstyle is kind of close to what Mario is, but not something like Samus or Captain Falcon. there should at least be courses for DLC characters to justify why they would get in, so even characters like Bubbles/Nana/Popo could get in...but how do you make a course based around a bunch of grappling pegs or a multicolored glacier? Smash already has the monopoly on a massive crossover as a metaseries.
Mario & All Stars Kart or Mario Kart + All Stars or something. Or just Mario Kart is fine. It's still mostly Mario characters. Do we still agree that naming your console Wii U after your last console was named Wii was a fucking terrible idea? Not to mention I was never exactly fond of the name Wii in the first place :v:
what if they called it the Yu instead of the Wii U "wii would like to play with Yu"
Do we still agree that naming your console Wii U after your last console was named Wii was a fucking terrible idea?
what if they called it the Yu instead of the Wii U "wii would like to play with Yu"
The next console after that could be "Wud" "wii wud like to play with yu"
what if they called it the Yu instead of the Wii U "wii would like to play with Yu"
Doesn't the U already imply 'you', seeing they wanted it to be a play on WE as a collective and YOU as a personified experience?
exactly, it ditches the 'Wii' part so people don't think it's an add-on while keeping the point, and also making it obviously similar to the word "You" without just calling it "You" much like the Wii being We
To be honest that's still a terrible name :v: Shit the codename for the Wii was way better than the actual name. Imagine if the Wii was called the Nintendo Revolution instead. That'd be cool. Dunno what a better name for the Wii U would be though. Then again I just call it "the Nintendo" as I always have.
I can imagine the lame "Why's it called the Revolution? Cause you take one look at it and go for a 360 instead" jokes. Because jokes about angles are the best way to have a console war

Mario Kart-All Stars would work better than Nintendo kart
Is it good? Never played it and was tempting to get but I heard there was a game-breaking bug that screwed your save file or something.
Mario Kart-All Stars would work better than Nintendo kart
I had someone actually call the game that thinking it was the sequel to the Sonic racing game.
So people found a way to disable sleep mode on external hard drives while using the Wii U: 1. Go to settings. 2. Go to data management. 3. Press and hold down on the D-Pad for half a second. 4. While holding down down on the D-Pad, press and hold the + and - buttons and keep holding them 5. You will see a prompt
