i kinda expect them to announce it at e3 this year
God damn, I've gone from full-speed Morton roll out to a Shy Guy buggy one. 200cc is a cruel mistriss.
Another minor thing I like about the DLC is that the Leaf Tires are on par with the Rollers in stats, which is nice since I never liked those tiny wheels and I don't remember the last time I put some on.
I'm someone who goes aesthetics over stats most of the time in any game. It's a bad habit.
Holy shit Big Blue is easily the best track in the game. DLCs tracks as a whole are the best.
Although it's gonna take a while to unlock 200cc :v:
Isabelle gives me heart attacks.

"HO HO"
"WHOA YEEEEEAH"
"WARIO YEAH"
"WAH HEH HEH"
I think it is safe to say that Neo Bowser City is fresh hell in 200cc, unless you're rolling slower loadouts.
I now get why we didn't get Waluigi Pinball as a map, this map already makes you feel like one.
can we all take a moment to appreciate the piece of art that is f-zero x's japanese cover

I didn't expect 200cc to be THIS fast
I think I need a heavier mii if I want to roll with my midlife crisis falcon in 200cc.

Oh man, I am not used to heavy racers. Dry Bowser is so fucking cool, but god damn I can't handle how wide he drifts. Guess I'll have to just stick with Roy. :C
PSA Do not play Neo Bowser City on 200 unless you fucking hate yourself and everyone around you

That art is how I would describe the word "fast" in visual form.
after playing every track in 200cc i can honestly say neo bowser city is absolute hell
specifically that snaking curve near the end, if you brake to take it without falling off you lose a ton of speed
My favorite is definitely Fall. The sunset and colors are really well done.

I hope they put F-Zero X up soon now that they're doing N64 virtual console games
Holy crap, the fucking Boo! Haunted House in AVGN Adventure is fucking hard as fuck, and I read that there is a You Only Live Once mode, which is one-hit and game over for good. I don't think I'm that hardcore to do that.

Oh man, I'll buy it in heartbeat when it gets release in the Wii U (same with Mario Party 2).
Also, fuck Donut Plains in 200cc.
I too am on a mission to triple star all the 200cc cups...with a Max Speed build.
Hard Mode Activated.
I switched from my usual Wario - Badwagon - Gold Wheels - Wario Wing build to Villager (Female) - The Duke - Gold Wheels - Super Glider.
Makes it a lot less unplayable. The main problem with 200cc is that if you use high risk/reward cars items fuck you over unreasonably hard and it can be impossible to recover from a hit towards the end of the race.

Probably won't happen, but it'd be nice if they included the 64DD features, extended songs and tracks.
I wish Nintendo would hire a whole building full of people working on VC titles

I think it is pretty absurd that they don't allow other developers to do emulation tests and their own fixes and take it upon themselves to do so when the Virtual Console as a whole would benefit from a plethora of games.
This is made even more baffling since the Japanese Virtual Console selection is actually pretty decent compared to America and Europe's.

And the fact they went balls to the wall on the Wii with the VC with almost every release for each console

The problem is they released that with hardly any advertising. Only core gamers really knew about VC, but the Wii's audience was mostly casual, and core gamers just use emulators. It needed more marketing; I'm sure they could have appealed VC to a much wider audience. Who honestly didn't grow up with Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World or some Mario game in this day and age.

Boo! Haunted House was probably the hardest level for me. At least it had a kick ass track to go along with it. But seriously, fuck that invisible block puzzle.
Well, Mt. Wario has convinced me to give up trying to beat all 12 cups with triple stars with a max speed build.
Still going to finish them up with a Heavyweight if possible.
