URGENT ALERT: there are actually things on the australian club nintendo store, various download games and vc titles while it is cool, i'd prefer to have some worthwhile physical goods put on the store
Man, everything feels so slow when playing at 150cc now compare to 200cc.
Ha ha, wow. Fuck Bone-Dry Dunes and Rainbow Road in 200cc.
Oh my god the shy guy costume in Yoshi's Wooly World !!!! Every level has unlockable costumes/colors for getting all 5 of the collectables.

Goddamnit, I really hate Dry-Bones Dunes, Rainbow Road and Neo Bowser City in 200cc. One fuck up and your ass is on 7th place from 1st.
Where did you hear this?
Was at a preview event. Iwata Asks on Xenoblade Chronicles X
As far as I can tell you can play 200CC online but it's considered a "custom race" so there aren't as many players. I didn't see an option for 200CC under the normal VS race category.
I'm kind of bored and I'm done completely all the cups in 200cc with triple stars, and I noticed Dry-Bones Dunes seems to be mentioned a lot. The two things I noticed the most while playing on that track in 200cc: - You cannot make the double corner part with a drift no matter how much you try. It could be possible, but you might as well brake and turn regularly. If you want to risk a drift, then start the drift without doing a trick. - During the gliding segment, you want to get to the floor as quick as possible and immediately go into a drift+brake. Shouldn't be that hard if you keep those two things in mind, and brake+drifting in tight turns.

I often find bikes easier to control I dunno maybe its my preference
With in-drifting or out-drifting?
In-drifting it allows for sharper more precise turns i always preferred when bikes had that on MKWii I guess it just carried over from there
Yeah inside drifting is basically required for 200cc if you want to build up any speed at all
Braking while drifting.
how about draking
how about draking
I prefer joshing

I don't have much optimism for Mighty No. 9 after all the bullshit that's went on during development, how uninspired looking the game wound up being, and that extra kickstarter they started after making a shitload of money for the game for the TV show left a bad taste in my mouth. It really is a cash grab for blue-balled megaman fans.
i want it because i like video games and it looks fun.
Once it comes out I'll watch reviews and shit and might buy it but at this point it seems unlikely.
I had some interest in it at the very first announcement, when I thought that it was going to be a 2D-drawn game in the style of the concept art, as opposed to a 2.5D side scroller. I haven't followed it all that much since it's initial kickstarter, so I missed out on the "developer bullshit" that happened. Anyone want to give me a little run down, or point me in the direction of things to search?
honestly I'm not looking forward to mighty no. 9 because every single screenshot that's come out thus far has looked just so ugly low res textures and excessive rimlighting just make it look like a bad unity game. i know five million dollars isn't all that much to make a video game but it's more than enough to bring a guy on the team to look at it and say "damn this looks really bad"

Did nobody read the damn Kickstarter properly or watch the pitch video the whole way through or something?
for someone who's a little behind the times what happened? whats this "developer bullshit" I hear, people where really exited when it was announced did something go awry or something?
for someone who's a little behind the times what happened? whats this "developer bullshit" I hear, people where really exited when it was announced did something go awry or something?
There was that kerfuffle over a community manager that was a tremendous waste of everybody's time since she doesn't have the slightest input on the game. Then there's some developer stuff that I'm not particularly knowledgeable on. Then there's the bullshit like announcing DLC before the game is done and trying that TV show thing. Wait until the damn game is done before pulling this shit, guys. The rest comes from disappointing videos, partially due to so far underwhelming gameplay footage and shit graphics, which from what I've heard is a combination of for some bizarre reasons them demoing gameplay footage at what appear to be the lowest graphical settings, and not having all of the shiny processing and effects and engine whatnot done yet. I'm subscribing to the school of "wait for the fucking game to release before condemning it" so I'm neutral on the whole thing. [editline]29th April 2015[/editline] I haven't been keeping up with it particularly closely so my impression has mostly been "DLC bullshit, everybody getting upset over absolutely nothing because everybody trips over themselves to get up in arms whenever tumblr feminists turn up, and people not understanding that an unfinished game looks unfinished as far as graphics go, while getting upset that they misread the kickstarter page".
