Definitely looks better in motion than in the art posted above.
The gameplay and graphics look great already (though the camera follows a little too tightly IMO) and it hasn't even started its kickstarter.
Already way better than a certain other spiritual successor to a dead series of classic games.

A chameleon. Only problem I have is Yaylee's nose
I would be careful. This game is following the roots of Mighty No.9 ever so closely, and look at how that turned out.
The similarities are incredibly striking.

The difference between this and other "spiritual successors" (Broken Age, MN9) and that there's a team behind this one instead of one big name and his lackeys. The last time a team of people left a company to form a new one and make a throwback game? Yacht Club Games and Shovel Knight. I have a feeling we'll be good.

I don't like the bat's big clown nose.
Cross posting from the Star Wars thread, since Disney Infinity 3.0 (which will be on Wii U) is going to feature Star Wars.

Isn't the only person who worked on Mega Man at Comcept Inafune?
Not only that but I heard Inafune didn't do much on Mega Man as others might have people believe.
I don't like the bat's big clown nose.
That's literally my only problem with it. It's... kinda ugly and not charming at all to me.
When I look at it, it doesn't even look like a nose. It looks like somebody just stuck a large gummy candy on the bat's face.
Also, I feel the bat should have a tuft of fur on it's head or chest. It looks like a reptile right now.

Probably. The point is, people supported MN9 because "Oh Inafune worked on megaman! He'll know what to do", not because of anything the game had to offer (this includes me, by the way). Right now, YL has a concept, a team behind it, and what looks to be gameplay footage. This among other reasons is why I'm so much more supportive of YL than others are willing to.

Inafune was an art designer at the beginning of the series, responsible for all the character designs along with a large hand in the logo, pixel work, and anything else art-related. After problems arose with Mega Man 3, he ended up moving to planner when the original person in the position left, and eventually became producer for the series as well as other titles loosely. Although he's not the series director, he did have a hand in the birth of the series but he's not the sole person responsible.
He's just the most publicized and well-known face, to the point that he's the only part of the main team to have a Wikipedia page.

That's pretty neat. I do like the Disney Infinity figures, but buying all the Amiibos I do is bad enough, I really can't afford to be collecting more figurines.

It was Inafune and a couple other guys I think. Nobody really on the programming/development side joined IIRC, but Init Games (the company they're outsourcing development to) did make MegaMan 9, 10, and the Zero series so who knows what went wrong.
I'm more hopeful for Playtonic Games. They have former Rare employees on the team covering just about every aspect of game development. Take a look at the team page.
The biggest thing, though, is that they already have good looking gameplay and graphics to show. The kickstarter hasn't even launched. All Mighty No. 9 had was a video that was sort of a sob story.
Cross posting n shit.

we can't have underaged girls doing this sort of thing (especially if they're named lyn)
how can we fix this issue... oh wait you can just age her up (like they did with the other lyn)
edit: literally just... pretend the '3' in '13' is an 8 so she's '18'. there. that's all they need to do
it's still weird
Well to be fair, when they were making the game in Japan, they probably didn't think too much about it since the age of consent is technically 13.
So Lyn having that outfit is probably due to that, and they probably didn't think much about it when considering the western release.
it's still fucking disgusting

yeah we oughta nuke those fuckin' japs for not sharing our culture when it comes to anything sexual, am i right
fucking degenerates. an age of consent of 13??? that is no excuse to let a virtual character dress up in LEWD clothing. and while we're at it europe is a load of shit too. america is the center of the world when it comes to moral issues. it's not ethnocentrism it's just common sense
it's still fucking disgusting
By our cultural standards. Clearly not by theirs.
Just make her 18 in the localization. She doesn't look 13 anyways.
just don't customise her to wear those clothes problem solved
I think it could be better, needs pants.
A vest jacket or something would be better, pants would be too similar to banjo and the legs look fine, it's the big green body that looks so blank

you're talking to australian and italian people
you're talking to australian and italian people
Age of Consent here in Australia is 16.
Close enough.
Seriously though, I think they will just either censor the name or make her 18.
Didn't something similar happen with Bravely Default?
