Something I just realized while looking at the Single Player, the Octolings ink has a very subtle normal map that adds suction cups marks to their ink.
Tiny details are my favorite.
Speaking of tiny details, in Turf War the size of the squids on the top of screen change based on how much turf they cover.

Strange how even though I feel there's a low amount of content I'm more pumped about this then before, squiddn't think that would happen. I keep browsing my splattop for videos and stuff. It's hard finding good videos on the inkternet though, most of them are sea brained idiots that got review copies for no real reason other then they own some kind of recording software.

I actually saw quite a few miiverse drawings during the global testfire a few days ago.
Just so everyone knows, the club nintendo prices have been halved for all the products. The only thing that wasn't halved were the games. I hate when this happens because I always buy things right before they become cheaper.
