In relation to what I said a couple days ago in this thread, Square just moved their conference up an hour. Both get their time to shine, and customers don't have to decide between them. Win win, right? Well it seems people think Nintendo "bullied" square to move their time, and that they don't have the right to hold onto that spot. Kinda sad, how many people see competition in things.

I went there at 1:00 today and took a bunch of pictures. They were handing out squid hats to those who were selected from the crowd, and if you played the game you got a Splatoon t-shirt. The demo they had was similar to the tutorial for the testfires, but the first area was completely removed. The launch pad at the end was also gone, and the tutorial was on a timer. You played two games on Blackbelly Skatepark, which was not in the testfire using the Splattershot Jr.
The live event was interesting, but I was never able to get too good of a view of it.

From what I understand, every year they've had one conference for us, one for business people, and another for journalists right before E3. It's nice to see this, though.

oh yeah people were having fun there. there were cameras all over the place, and i'm sure they'll upload videos of it soon. lots of people stood in line to play multiple times.
Nintendo seem to be taking some interesting advertising decisions for Splatoon i hope it does well for it

Sadly, the only TMNT game that was on the Virtual Console was the NES one, but that was pulled years ago when Konami decided not to renew the license.

I'm becoming slightly annoyed with Nintendo and Splatoon, simply for the fact they're showcasing the Inkbrush so much and it won't even be shipping with the game, and is part the update patches. They put Paper Mario on the WiiU VC, I think you can get it at a discounted $2.99 instead of buying a new controller.
The worst part about it is that my regular Wii is perfectly functional and I could of just redeemed it on that instead.
