Wow, that remix of White Jungle is really good. Surprised they're revisiting this song.
I fully expect E.G.G.M.A.N. at this point. Keys the Ruin would also be very welcome.
As for the leaks, not asking for any details, but is it showing areas we haven't seen yet?
A couple, mainly one zone we've not seen yet though we kinda guessed it would be in the game already, and acts of zones we already knew about. If the list i've seen is right, though, then this game is really fucking weird; you don't play zones to "completion" and the stage order is all over the goddamn place.

if only the game played as good as this sounds

:ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno::ohno:
THE LEAK IS EVERYWHERE AND THEY ARE TEMPTING BCZ THEY LOOKED KINDA GOOD
I mean, people are already completing the game and giving it like a 7-7.5 on Twitter and Reddit.
It's not a terrible game apparently, but not a good one either. Just sort of an average platformer that could be better with a patch and Classic Sonic being the weak link in the chain again.
Honestly I'll be pleased with the game as long as it's not bad.
I'll take a just "good" or hell, even an "okay" Sonic game.
I'm not saying that's the ideal, I'm just saying I don't want another blemish on the series, especially for what's essentially one of the 25th anniversary games.
Uh the Death Tarot does not mean Death it means Change get it right geez
but can it mean death though? (clueless on how it works)
I wish devs would just say fuck it and release it early. Hate when people ruin the game for others because they got it a week early
Probably late. But I came across this and it's so fucking perfect.

It syncs so well.
Why does this sync better than the song that originally plays over it.
God those fucking youtube spoilers. Youtube really needs to do something about it.

How many stages are there in the game? A streamer played it yesterday up to about 30% and he had done like 20 stages.
Having spoiled myself on the cutscenes and the final boss, I have to say this as a large spoiler for the story and conclusion (and this is the big stuff so don't bother paying attention to it if you don't want to be spoilered): [sp]there was absolutely no real reason to try to be super ultra secretive and hype-building about the plot. Just about nothing gets much payoff whatsoever besides Buddy helping prevent shit getting fucked up, and the game doesn't even really earn a justification for being so lax with it. The Phantom Ruby never gets any origins, Infinite anti-climatically gets whooped and that's that, and Eggman fights you in a totally-not-Lyric Death Egg Robot empowered by the Phantom Ruby.. which becomes a not-Nega Wisp at the end, for the second time they've reused this stupid final boss almost 1:1. No Super Sonic, no Super Buddy - you just do a triple tag team, beat him with the power of friendship, and Mania Sonic fucks off back to his own world again as everything ends up perfectly fine and Sonic and Buddy share one last fistbump before going to wander the world individually. The game doesn't even attempt to explain much with Mania's tie-in; Mania Sonic shows up because "the world needs a Sonic", and leaves because.. well, no real reason given, meaning Mania only exists to justify Mania Sonic in Forces and nothing else is done with that. Even Eggman pretty much gets no conclusion in the ending; he's just beaten again and isn't seen after that, which even Lost World fucking closed up.[/sp]
Oh yeah, and [sp]Chaos and Shadow don't get boss fights; they're handled in cutscenes effortlessly and just served to exist as fakes for advertising purposes.[/sp]

30 stages it seems like, though there's extra content to tackle too. Boss fights also count as stages.

[sp] Since Shadow defeats his clone, maybe you at least fight it in the DLC? [/sp]
Also, for anyone who has watched the cutscenes... does Silver's voice sound REALLY different to anyone else? Apparently it's the same guy. I haven't played the Olympic games so maybe it sounded like it does in those as well but it sounds wayyyy different from Generations.

It's Quinton Flynn, but the voice direction in Forces makes almost everyone sound different from previous games. Even Amy has the same voice actress but sounds near-completely different from Lost World.

I found it to be really jarring with Silver and Rouge in particular, maybe it's just me though. IIRC Espio is the only one with a new VA because his previous one went on strike or something.
Amy sounds more like she does in Sonic Boom
Amy sounds more like she does in Sonic Boom
I believe I remember a tweet from the actress outright saying that in Lost World or Generations, "Minnie Mouse" was literally her voice direction. Probably Lost World.
Amy sounds more like she does in Sonic Boom
Good she does a great job.

[sp]I wish they explained on how/where were the Chaos Emeralds and what ever happened to Eggman afterwards.[/sp]
EDIT:More specific spoilers
[sp]This pissed me off specifically, with the explanation of "Phantom Ruby" with Tails and Classic Sonic's conversation and with Modern Sonic SPECIFICALLY know that's the same Classic Sonic (unless it was just an reference)means Mania either never actually happened or some things were changed (Egg-Robos were just normal Egg-Robos) or whatever the reason this was supposed to tie-in.[/sp]
Also I firmly believe that in terms of the main series, Infinite is [sp]one of the most stupidly pointless antagonists in the franchise. He exists solely to be an antagonistic wall that no one can overcome until the endgame, but repeatedly lets Sonic and the Avatar live even when Eggman tells him why that's a bad idea, and the very things he says would never happen then happen and he goes "HOW CAN THIS BE?" It's fucking hilariously stupid how he's played completely straight as some super edgy antagonist and then fucks that up.[/sp]
Boy can't keep clean of spoilers huh. Y'all some junkies.
Boy can't keep clean of spoilers huh. Y'all some junkies.
If I don't want to touch a game based on its gameplay, I don't really feel an obligation to shell out $40 to see its plot through. I do want to avoid spoiling those who do hold an interest though.

Sorry about that, I didn't notice it until after I made my post. My sincere apologies.

I didn't see anything, was just commenting how people cant resist :)
Didn't plan on buying Forces and honestly I can't say I'll probably regret it. [sp] It isn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but honestly it just looks like a longer Generations with a stupider plot. Boss battles didn't look that fun especially, considering most of them are just needlessly long boosting + homing attack chains. [/sp]
I guess the 30 stages makes up for the fact that they're mostly short.
but can it mean death though? (clueless on how it works)
Nah if I remember right none of the major Arcana mean actual death. I think only one of the minor Arcana means death
Curious about how the leak even happened. Was it a street date being broken? Or a digital store error?
Curious about how the leak even happened. Was it a street date being broken? Or a digital store error?
Steet date broken for Switch version in US and PS4 version in Russia.
