I like a handful of the songs and the character creator is good fun with how simple it is. I also enjoy Infinite despite the fact his backstory makes him a gigantic idiot loser. It's just man they really rushed this thing out and I wish they didn't.
Also not getting the point of the number rings or silver ones. I get it would be annoying to go a entire stage wondering where the hell the "3" is but when the numbers are literally right next to each other and there's literally no way of fucking it up it feels patronizing. Moon medals are kind of being the same.
I'm gonna be real salty if I don't get any neat clothes for getting these things though. I wanna see all the options there are gosh.
That's another thing, the game rewards you for completing the most simplistic and mundane of tasks. Did you complete a rudimentary objective like push a button once in a stage? Here's your ACHIEVEMENT AND EXTRA POINTS! It's the ultimate manifestation of the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.

The person who first made their OC just a shitty lanky sonic was funny. Every single youtuber opens the character creator and makes not-sonic with the same tired joke and it's just dull.

Yep, I've been able to watch 5 minutes of [URL="https://youtu.be/GQSAKUqs6Ao"]this[/URL] before turning it off because the whole purpose of the video is to shit on the game.
And I must say I'm very surprised that Arin from Game Grumps seems to genuinely enjoy it so far despite being very skeptical during the first level. Without a doubt he was ready to shit on it like he always does.

This is the first time in a long while I've watched GG. Even though I didn't think the game was great, watching Danny get such a genuine kick out of it no matter what is just fun and kind of spirit-lifting to see.

Ironically from what I've heard from a friend he WAS planned to be in the game but due to the failure of Rise of Lyric they decided against it and the CaC was actually put in this year during development

It doesn't help that you specifically get Sonic's signature shoes and the brown scarf and sports tape gloves of Boom Sonic when you [sp]clear the final boss.[/sp] Unlike what other item drops seem to be in a sort of randomized kind of thing, it happens every time.

It's kind of a reason why they added Normal Mode. Hard Mode is the series' standard, but Normal's for the reviewers and twits that genuinely throw their faces into a fire over and over until their brain finally turns on just a little.

He definitely plays at around the same level of someone playing a Sonic game for the first time, so the kind of people who need to play on the normal difficulty are probably just as bad at it as him.
I'm actually having a bit of fun watching the play-through even if he's not good at the game, since it's the first time Arin didn't instantly start shitting on it and he's actually kinda figuring the controls out- but I'm sure that could change by their next recording session.

Unleashed was originally called Sonic World Adventure. All of the places in Sonic Unleashed were based on a real life location, and adopted many of the distinct cultural things.
Personally I really liked the night songs from unleashed. Shame you never actually heard them with the battle theme playing every 5 seconds.
