Not really a fan of Aaron Webber and his brand of wittiness w/ the Official Sonic Twitter but I do love how chummy they can get with the other Twitter PR guys (i.e: Overwatch and Deus Ex).
I see this wasn't posted yet either.

This image here is from a trailer released in June. When did this whole Knuckles & Knuckles thing start?

Wait, Shinobi is referenced on that list too, which is another Sega Game. Huh
I started playing through the 8-bit Sonic 2 again after so many years. I have so much nostalgia for it, I had this way before I ever played the Genesis game. Granted I'm playing the Master System version (because of it's bigger FOV) on my GCW-Zero instead of my Game Gear, but it's still as good as I remember.
Found my real cart, but I found my Gear Gear screen got damaged sometime before on top of the screen getting faded from bad capaciters. I've heard of the Majesco re-release of the Game Gear has a much better screen, but is the rest of console good and how rare is it?
Better yet are there clone consoles like for the GBC/A?

Or shit I might try something like this

[editline]22nd August 2016[/editline]
Of course I had already thrown out the broken Atari Flashback 3
The Master System / Game Gear versions of Sonic 2 have some of the most chill tracks the series has to offer with their soundtracks.

It was the storyline of an episode of Sonic Boom.
Huh interesting.
It's kind of beautiful to see a spin-off of the "featuring Dante from the devil may cry series" joke spiral into something like this.
shadow should've stayed an antagonist
He really isn't much more of an antagonist than Knuckles besides the non-canon endings to ShTH. Metal Sonic fills the roll of antagonist hedgehog well enough, I feel.
I recently read the Sonic Fighters arc in the archie comics. I seriously love how that comic interprets Bean the Duck.
I recently read the Sonic Fighters arc in the archie comics. I seriously love how that comic interprets Bean the Duck.
Archie!Bean is way too much of an absolute goofball in my opinion (even though I understand the priceless stuff he does and how grating he can get is indeed the intention of his character).

Not really how I imagined Bean would act if he were ever to appear in the main game continuity either.

You definitely get the idea from the character's body language that he was a bit manic and devious, befitting for the series' original classical cartoon origins (and bit of a long due opportunity to exploit at that as he hasn't made an actual appearance since after Fighters) but Ian Flynn and the other writers really cranked that former trait to its limit beyond satire, for a character that also was basically just a blank slate to fill roster space and a subtle reference to an obscure SEGA arcade game no less.
In short: not a fan because of his overly exaggerated nature, but can definitely see why other people enjoy the hell out of him here.
I'm personally a huge fan of it. It might be a bit overboard but eh, I love him.
Being a goofball is totally in-line with the game that Bean is inspired by, Dynamite Dux, which itself is rather nonsense:

I do find it to be really endearing how Froggy never seems to willingly leave Big's side, as if he's grown fond of him as well.
I'm tired of this series/fanbase being so mean-spirited.
Uh, could you elaborate a little?
Uh, could you elaborate a little?
Sorry but I guess I'll try my best with elaborating, even though it's obvious at first glance.
It's likely no surprise that the Sonic fanbase is incredibly fractured beyond belief due to the various multitude of games, TV shows, and comics which when compared all to each other have what some would call "inconsistent direction" or simply put for the game continuity alone, there really isn't a tone that's keep constant for the series since the Adventure titles (arguable for 2's case). No wonder is it one of the many catalysts for the infighting that goes on in various places.
Communities like the SEGA Forums or the Sonic Stadium Message Board just happen to be where a lot of drama and slander is churned out constantly due to the shit-flinging that regularly happens there (reportedly not just of the fan variety either but also the political side of things). This speaks volumes for itself. Then you have places like "True Sonic Spirit" AKA: the Sonic Adventure 3 Facebook group which, besides the usual slanderous shit that happens there, have the most outlandish and childish attitude on things that it makes them look utterly desperate, all for a game that's never likely going to see the light of day.
Then there are individuals who have already given the series a bad name just from strutting their shit that's completely unrelated to the actual games themselves (i.e: CWC and SammyClassicSonicFan), petty detractors who actively try to harass those people and make them out as examples of the entire fanbase when that's still simply not true (bonus points if it involves the phrases "autistic" or similar childish insults) or just shit on any normal fan so much as they like even a single little aspect of the series, the utterly blatant bias a lot of critics have against the series, and the official social media outlets treating the franchise as a complete joke without realizing the consequences of that outlook; overall, its an entire mess of cynicism bottled up yet leaking from every crack imaginable.
It's an incredibly sad state of affairs, and most people still haven't seen the bigger picture beyond laughable OC's and the droves of bad fetish art + fanfiction.

It's why I'm very glad this thread is on here in the first place, far away from all of that drama.
This is by far one of the few places where I've seen people having intelligent discussions about Sonic, but I have a feeling that won't be the same with the advent of Newpunch.
Moving on: Cream's comic is next, likely followed by the Chaotix if we're going by their Heroes' line-up.

Cream's comic has already been translated too.

$70 for a collectors edition is a pretty damn good price.
