People are claiming that 4 different sources got the same info at the same time, albeit with certain pieces missing between them. More notably, those who have actually played the Modern Sonic demo commented that Tails is among those who radio in as support - unless, of course, we're supposed to think that the mid-destruction stage they showed off was sort of a prologue before the world is fully taken over.

You know what? I like Amy Rose. She's an adorable bundle of sheer willpower that approaches hardship with humor and optimism and I'm fed up with keeping that in the closet around other Sonic fans, while (of course) keeping my interest in Sonic in the closet around the general gaming community. It's farcical. Maddening.
This fanbase should understand better than any what it's like to love a disappointment. Yeah she's often been terrible and inconsistent, but what about this series hasn't been?

I'm not liking it, but as long as it doesn't have a shitty gameplay, or he plays like Sonic, I don't mind.

I actually really hope that the whole "make your own OC" isn't true. It has that... stigma and charm that I feel somehow better if kept strictly a fan-fantasy / mockery.
Sonic Forces is one of the "core" game for crying out loud.. this just feels off.
Multiple "sources" are reporting it, so I guess I just have to suck it up and embrace what is coming.

Who knows about that though; maybe if there's fun to be had like in the Chao Gardens of old I can see people genuinely liking it besides fucking around with character creation Oblivion styled.
Let's be honest an OC creator in an official sonic game is probably going to boost the game's sales, knowing the Sonic community this is a dream come true, to have their OC in a Sonic game.
Feels like maybe they were inspired to do so by the Dragonball Xenoverse games which also does let you create your own character and play through the Dragonball storyline kinda.
Fuck i'd say they hit a goldmine with that.

im ashamed to admit it but when i was like 12-13 i used to play a roleplaying mmo called "furcadia" and on that mmo you could enter servers that used sonic sprites as playermodels and there was a huge sonic fanbase community there. it was pretty cool in the sense i learned a lot about socializing and grammar there :v:
I feel that Sonic OC's and some of the artists themselves get too much shit; there's nothing wrong at all with wanting to partake in the fandom on that level, it's just the execution that really matters and on top of that it can become a learning experience for some.
The (sadly numerous) recolors and extremely obvious self-inserts are really the only ones that are any awful. In contrast though, [URL="http://magimacaque.tumblr.com/post/144405326069"]there have been a few who've actually nailed the official look.[/URL]
