24 years of playing it and Labyrinth Zone still terrifies me.
Any rail grinding level in Adventure 2 grinds my gears, as you need a ridiculous precision to hit them from a freefall, and of course the smallest hit to one direction midair causes Sonic/shadow to go 5 meters to that way.
For me when it came back to playing SA2 the hardest things for me to try were the homing attack since it wasn't always precise, plus trying to turn when doing the curves like on Green Forest were also an annoyance.
Also speaking of old Sonic levels fuck Labyrinth Zone Act 3 with a pitchfork.
By this point I've just accepted Labyrinth Zone exists seeing as how I have a soft-spot for water levels and [URL="http://info.sonicretro.org/Game_Secrets:Sonic_the_Hedgehog_(16-bit)#In-game_vs._technical_level_order"]it could've been much worse[/URL] (oh and its track may or may not have been [URL="https://youtu.be/Rt-YZ8SbVOA?t=2m19s"]sampled from a certain[/URL] [URL="https://youtu.be/CD7SKBEtaC8?t=2m20s"]Dreams Come True song.[/URL])
If the cut Goggles were to be a power-up instead of test sprites and were implemented into the stage though, it would've been much more bearable.
Is the Sonic Boom cartoon overall considered good or not within the fandom. What little I have seen I actually did enjoy but I really want to know if it is worth my time or not. I am not one to complain that some characters have a different characterization, which seems to be the issue with most people.

From the small clips I saw in Youtube, I can say at least it takes from the the Twitter Sonic: Self aware and 4th wall jokes.
I don't know how it is to watch a whole episode sadly...

They are alright. I wouldn't binge them but wasting 15min a week is fine.
Other than a 4-episode special in season 2, there isn't much continuity (new characters do make returns but otherwise minor) so you can watch starting from any episode you want.
Imo season 2 has considerably better writing and establishes the Boom world further.

While I haven't gotten around to watching the show myself: from clippets I've seen it's likely worth a watch.
The writers clearly know what they're doing, unlike BRB with what they tried attempting to do with RoL.
It's a very funny show. It just lacks in bad animation / cg

I haven't seen much of it but the animations are pretty decent for a tv show? Especially if you compare to low-framerate shows based on dreamworks ip's.
It's a little shonky early on, but honestly, while it's weightless and not well-animated, it's better CGI animation than what Cartoon Network usually has on its other shows. Which is scary to think, really.
I [I]really[/I] enjoy the Sonic Boom TV show. Definitely one of my favorite cartoons currently on TV with its witty, gut-busting writing, decent animation, and likable characters ([I]especially[/I] in season 2).
It doesn't deserve to be mistreated by CN in the US.

Okay so I watched a couple of episodes and were very pleasantly surprised. I didn´t mind the few twitterstyle fourth-wall breaking joke as I vastly prefer that over the franchise pretending to be something that it is not, ie nineties-relevant.
Hoping that the main series never dips entirely into meta humor, especially the kind that Aaron Webber dishes out on a weekly basis.

She always give the team a different, more insane viewpoint to work with (usually for comedic purposes), but the show wouldn't be the same without her.

Boom Sonic honestly does look rather off partly because of the arms, but I think Boom Knuckles is the worst of the lot and misses the point entirely of his original design (i.e: power in a small package); what's worse is that BRB re-envisioned him as a straight up dumb muscle type of character.

Let's be frank here, Knuckles never was the sharpest tool in the shed, a fact that humorously clashes with his serious attitude to his duties.
In his current state, Modern Knuckles' as good as relieved from his Master Emerald duties.
He just keep coming up with excuses to leave Angel Island.
Not that I prefer him being a dumb dumb like in Boom.
