When they've been pushing the story in our faces and it's the only new thing to talk about that isn't the same 3-4 stages, it's kind of the focus alongside edgy mcedgerton Infinite.
Honestly, the story is one of the biggest draws of [I]Forces[/I] to me. I'm genuinely interested in how it all turns out.

I was wondering who that was, it was hard to tell it was the [sp]custom hero from behind. But I assumed it was Infinite freezing time to displace him or something, since Buddy's model is totally static throughout that short clip while Infinite moves at a normal speed.[/sp]

In SA1 Sonic was the only character that had more than a handful of levels per story.

The final boss will be fought on a Sonic 06 mach speed section and the only way to reach it will be to abuse Knuckles's infinite jump.
For anyone wondering the game will be as long as S3&K so looks to be around 14 zones total.
So a direct feed for the special stage was shown off.

I'd still wait until the game comes out to declare that but it does look really great.
It'll be better than S3K alone for the fact that it's widescreen 60fps with smooth and refined animations making it much more appealing to look at and better to control and play
I think you could argue to be fair Sonic 3 And Knuckles could be on a top ten list of all time great games. Its inherently a very hard benchmark to beat and its unfair to place that sort of expectation on the developers.

Of course. I'm saying it has the potential from what I see, but it is still very hard to dethrone that game.
meanwhile I got RetroArch running with Sonic 3 Complete and my Steam Link (I really fucking hate how bitchy the control setups for games can be with Steam Link if you're going into a non-Steam game)
it's great to embrace Sonic 3&K in all of its glory again on my TV, and it still looks damn fine for a Genesis game to boot

Unless Aaron Webber or someone else with a similar brand of humor comes in and takes position as head writer of the series (which is incredibly unlikely) then I wouldn't worry about it at all.

What I'd kill for in Sonic Mania is a Level Editor and Steam Workshop Support.
Question about Sonic Generations: Is the Config broken for anyone else who uses the controller? I fiddled with it for maybe almost an hour now and almost everytime i booted it up to play with a controller it almost never worked. I uninstalled the game because it was such a pain.
