So i wasn't the only getting that bug, well don't worry about it. you should get the good ending if you've already collected all the time stones.

This is both right and wrong. It's also not something Sega added :v:, it's one of the many rewards for doing blue spheres. Seriously do blue spheres.
[sp]The mode is just & Knuckles which makes him follow the player character like Tails does. You can have Sonic & Knuckles, Tails & Knuckles and yes, Knuckles & Knuckles.[/sp]
Also for people scared of any "modern" things seeping in chill out. There's 1 thing around the end and it's not even recognizable to most people. [sp]Sonic does the pose he does in the Forces reveal trail at one point. That's literally it.[/sp]

Even better then! Glad that the Blue Sphere gives you new modes to unlock. Apparently one of the modes is giving you [sp]Sonic 3's Insta-Shield ability to Sonic[/sp], and you can also unlock the Sound Test.
Oh, and somebody is slowing uploading music from the game, and holy shit is it fucking good!

switch version has issues that need to be fixed. friends game has crashed twice during normal gameplay and a streamer was having an issue where sonic would die after he beats a specific boss.
i'm gonna hold out for now

Damn, that sucks. I'm stuck with it until the PC version releases. From what I hear, the company that ported it is known for shoddy work, so who knows if the issues will even be patched.
That really sucks that the Switch version is the buggy one.
My temptation to watch one of the streams or playthroughs of Sonic Mania is rising because the PC version is delayed.

I did hear that Whitehead looked over the porting process since developers are set from Australia but in why they choose the same guys who did the Twilight Princess HD Port we may never know.
