No eShop release yet. Looks like it's going on PST for some fucking reason. This whole release has been one giant blunder.

Why are these types of releases never relative to a region's time zone. Just release the game when that time zone hits their midnight simple as that. In the very least if they want a full country release. Use the timezone that hits midnight first. Don't make everyone else wait several extra hours because PST is the last timezone to hit midnight.

Mountain Time here and i have to stay up to 1:00am to play Mania and i'm waiting it out by doing what i usually do i guess.

I'm sitting here watching the PS4 store like a fucking hawk, and yet there's no option to buy Sonic Mania. Probably should have pre-ordered it, but when is it supposed to go live on PS4? Between midnight and 2 am right?

I was completely surprised that [sp]they actually referenced the Game Gear games. Especially having the 8-bit Silver Sonic being part of the Metal Sonic fight. [/sp]

The stages in Mania are intimidatingly expansive. Everywhere you turn there's like three or more possible paths at any given moment, it's crazy. The replay value is going to be ridiculous.

[sp] The flying battery zone caught me off guard i can't just speed here. since the first part has lots of drops. Also love that mean bean machine fight.[/sp] :v:

I love the Special Stages in Mania. They have just the right feel in terms of difficulty unlike the Genesis titles.

Here i am, 10 minutes away from playing the game i've waited most of my life for. And i might have to wait till the morning to play it. Wish me luck guys.

Well I beat the game without the seven Chaos Emeralds. It's good, but since there's [sp]only four new zones while the other eight are classics with schizophrenic difficulty depending on how accurate they are to their original zones[/sp] the game ends up feeling like a bit of a "Best of Classic Sonic". You know, [sp]except for Oil Ocean, because fuck that place.[/sp] I might actually cancel my PC pre-order, because the extra $18 spent on that doesn't seem worth it to me.

Wow you really rushed through the game. It's only been out an hour where I am.
