I really hope Colors gets a port some day. Been meaning to play it since I've heard how good it is but I really don't wanna have to dig my Wii out from the depths and set it all up just for it.

I'm pretty sure those rows have been there forever.
Were they? I don't recall them showing up in 1 but I haven't played in awhile so shrug
I'm almost certain spikes didn't show up until the second stage.
I'm pretty sure those rows have been there forever.
There was definitely not any spike balls in the first stage.

Speaking of vocal songs, what's going on with Crush 40, anyway? Wasn't the last time they made a new Sonic song for 'Black Knight'? They covered Sonic Boom for the CD port but iirc that wasn't actually in the game, might be wrong.

Sonic Boom cover has nothing to do with CD port. It's safe to say Crush 40 is dead. Johnny has a few of his own bands and Jun is working on soundtracks for various Sega games. The only time you can see them together is when they perform on various sonic events.

'Fistbump' would probably sound a lot better if it was done by Crush 40, imo.
Wrong
iirc again, this was released on an album but never actually used in the game. Whether it was planned to or not is a mystery.
iirc again, this was released on an album but never actually used in the game. Whether it was planned to or not is a mystery.
Well that was wierd it was actually composed by Crush 40 but sang with a different vocalist.

If the lyrics were better it might be pretty good but ugh it feels like Engrish.
To be fair stuff like Escape From the City isn't much higher-brow lyrically. I feel like people are willing to give Crush 40 stuff more of a free pass and will be more nit-picky with any new bands or vocalists. [editline]2nd October 2017[/editline] I will say that Crush 40's lyrics have much better flow. But I'm just saying content/meaning wise, their lyrics aren't to special. I do enjoy Crush 40's OSTs a lot. I just think this new group is getting a bit more harshly treated than deserved.

It seems like the Switch version STILL hasn't been patched to add the Super button. What the hell is going on.
Well the Switch port was outsourced, so I wouldn't be surprised if whoever's handling it is being incredibly lazy, or patches are much more difficult to get authenticated with Nintendo.
iirc again, this was released on an album but never actually used in the game. Look at His World from Sonic 06 and With Me from Sonic & The Black Knight.

Sonic Team couldn't give two shits he should just upload them on a separate channel if he is worried about something

But the only person responsible for games being the way they are is Iizuka. Everyone else are just tools to make his vision into a real product. Most of the games where he was a producer was bad or meh and I don't know why he is still working at Sonic Team.

Which is funny, since you wouldn't be able to tell with how much he seemingly ignores Sonic 3 for all but the Lightning Shield and seemingly strikes out against Hyper Sonic. But I wouldn't lay the blame entirely at his feet.

Sonic games created under his control (after Yuji Naka left Sonic Team) only 2 are good. That says a lot. And this is without even talking about Sonic Boom where he did some questionable decisions too.
