Beat me to posting this xD
Whaaat? I'd prefer an update to Sonic R but that's pretty cool too.

My emotions with Sonic Forces is a constant back and forth between excitement and disappointment. argh Looking at the preview screenshot, it looks like Sonic Forces partially adopted Lost World's visual style. Almost like a mix between Unleashed and Lost World.
It's very blocky. A lot of square environments. The song is p cool tho

I accidentally found out that Continues in Mania weren't dummied out at all and are entirely functional You just have to complete a Special Stage with 10'000 points earned in the special stage itself and on No-Save mode :v:
This is maybe an odd question but what type/specific of paint does the Statue of Sonic Mania was used? I don't know what specifically it is but it been bugging that I notice my statue have paint spot errors near his shoe and mouth. I just want to fix it.
The shading in that Sonic Forces comic kinda reminds me of the original Sonic Riders art style

Digging SA2 a lot. Fixed a lot of my gripes with the first game. (Wonky camera notwithstanding) I gotta say my only major gripe is that I wish there were less Eggman and more Shadow stages in the Dark story. [editline]14th October 2017[/editline] Never mind I just got to Mad Space I retract every good thing I've had to say about this game.

Gamma's gameplay is floaty like the other characters and has a sense of speed to it as you race against the clock. The Eggman and Tails stages are slow and it feels like I'm controlling a 5 ton brick. The treasure hunt levels are better overall in SA2, but the SA radar was way better. I'm very mixed on both games because they both have issues that the other doesn't.
Seems like we found out what the Hooters collaboration was. [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DMJz4hcVwAA94O8.jpg:large[/t] From what I read on Sonic Channel, you also get a coaster with pictures of the characters and the girls will do a dance based on Fist Bump. So there's that.
I might have missed, but I assume this is confirmed as a Japanese only thing, right?
I don't imagine any Hooters worker in America ever wanting to dance to Fist Bump to advertise a furry blue cartoon hedgehog, so yeah, probably Japan-only.

I just didn't really enjoy Gamma's final few missions because it really feels like they start fucking you over on the time limit and it's hard to get by without dying because of a time-over. Also I feel heavily biased towards SA2 at this point just because of the variation in levels. Playing through all the different characters in SA1 started to feel like a little bit of a slog towards the end because you're just running through the same levels and seeing all the same cutscenes. In SA2, even if a character is playing through the same location as another already did, you're in an entirely new level. Also unrelated, but in SA1 when they'd change around what happened in a cutscene to fit the character you're playing as always made my continuity-conscious ass go nuclear.

I replayed some of SA1 recently and the only way I can ever see anybody running out of time is if they don't bother going for combos to rack up larger time bonuses.

It really makes me wonder what a metaphorical Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) Hooters promotion would've been like.
It really makes me wonder what a metaphorical Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) Hooters promotion would've been like.
You get kissed by a girl while pretending to be dead for the metaphorical Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Hooters promotion. Bonus points if you are wearing a fursuit.
Can't wait for the final zone of Sonic Forces to be Titanic Hooters Zone
From what I read on Sonic Channel, you also get a coaster with pictures of the characters and the girls will do a dance based on Fist Bump. So there's that.
Wow I knew Hooters was degrading to women but this is going too far.
Also unrelated, but in SA1 when they'd change around what happened in a cutscene to fit the character you're playing as always made my continuity-conscious ass go nuclear.
I just figure it the character themselves telling the story for the reason it changed.
Can't wait for the final zone of Sonic Forces to be Titanic Hooters Zone
So that's why Rouge is on the front line in that one screenshot, huh.
I'm still amazed how little we've been shown of Forces. We've had more music drops than actually new gameplay.
