man brave really fucking annihilated themselves.
Can someone please give me a rundown on what happened with Brave? I've only seen separated posts about it and it hasn't been very fulfilling.

o7 never again will I shoot at miners in BUZ
I got the itch to begin playing EVE again. I haven't really played the game seriously in 1½-2 years, subbed on and off and dicking around in HS for a while before letting my sub run out. Decided to get back in to null sec, since I remember enjoying it a lot back in the days of Concordiat.
I managed to find a friendly corporation who welcomed me with open arms, they're in the PFR alliance down in Scalding Pass. With all the turmoil that has been going on around these parts lately I'm not really excited about taking my Machariel out for anoms, and I don't want to ninja PVE in my SB. I've been looking to do some exploration, a ton of near-empty systems, ton of sites and WH's to grab. The thing is, I've never really done much exploration. Only dicked around solo in WH's trying to learn the scanning basics.
I'm basically just trying to make some ISK to throw in the "learning-to-pvp" fire. And it seems like exploration is the best route I can follow, it's solo and rather low risk.(~80M Frig vs 1Bil BS)
I haven't done any exploration and with the release of the hacking mini-game(Or whatever you want to call it.) I'm pretty lost. Does anyone have a good newbie/beginner exploration guide that's not outdated as hell?
I can fly Minmatar T2 Cov ops frigs.
Does one of you know a bit better what the fuck is going on with TEST? the eve reddit (yes reddit, I know) is a clusterfuck of pics with test having sov and losing it :v:
Do they now have some sov or not?
this is so fucking late but Almost Awesome failcascaded and dropped their sov so we got ~10 systems in wicked creek from that, plus we took a few from RA. Right now it's kinda hard to fight the combined Russian groups in their TZ but a ~1500 man coalition has formed to attack us in USTZ which is pretty fun
Also R.I.P all those LAWN corps who didn't want to leave fountain. Aren't there quite a few FP guys in blitzkreig?
blitzkrieg got in a failcascade of itself a month or two ago. Most of us have reformed in a new FW corp for now, though we have plans for null-sec again after fozziesov.
Oh.... Well, I guess I need to renew my subscription and look where I need to move then. I was hoping I could wait till after I was clear of exams.
I've been out of the loop for a long time, but aren't quite a lot of corps dropping sov because of the upcoming changes?
yeah, a lot of sov is being dropped.
Right now the following regions are clearing up afaik:
* Fountain
* Outer region
* Querious
* Period basis
* Delve
* Catch

Fountain is a bit of a mess tho, because CFC gave the order of the evac while not everyone is willing to move. The result is a lot of corps being thrown out of alliances originally situated there like LAWN and BLAST (Blitzkrieg is also one of the corps that got kicked out)
My corp moved into wicked creek before the big battles that are going on there now. It used to be such a nice neighborhood.
(Blitzkrieg is also one of the corps that got kicked out)
Well shit.
[editline]16th April 2015[/editline]
Most of my stuff is in Fountain...
If you haven't played for a while and your shit is stuck in nullsec, you can submit a ticket. They can move your character, the ship he/she is in and everything that is inside it to highsec. Did that myself when I came back a couple of months ago, and they responded and moved me in less than an hour.

I really hope I'm docked up in the station with my sleipnir then.
Here comes the ship skin train!

I'd have never thought NPC's would fully comply with CCP's force field code.
As in they don't ignore it if their warp destination is past it and it can't accelerate in time before hitting it.
It's patch day!
Well, I finally got 5 PI colonies established.
Colony Set 1: I use this to manufacture Organic Mortar Applicators.
I have three PI colonies dedicated to constructing this and I usually 'harvest' the batch after a week. It does require me to transfer some materials to the main production planet but for now it is certainly churning out some great goods for a profit.
Colony Set 2: I have so far just dedicated to manufacturing water-cooled CPU's. It's very small in comparison to my first set, but it is in Hi-Sec. Allows me for some very passive and convenient 'farming' and tending to. May be possibly fitting them out for a P3 colony.
I should be able to calculate the value of all manufactured products by this saturday to see how much my PIs could churn out in a 7-day haul cycle.

Pretty impressed with CCP, since the Entosis link can be used on the jove observatory for some really cool info items. The link is a collection of them so far, and they're being tied back into things that happened when the game released.
I was really excited for ship skins, until I saw the price tags.
3000 aur for a bs skin? That's over 500m...
Fuck no.

It's only that much AUR since it's permanent. Also, not all BS skins are that much, most range between 100-300, only a few cost 500+.
Luckily, I invested in skinned ships before the changes since I knew prices would go up, good thing I bought ~20 dread skins for 100-150 each, now they're worth 400-500
The skins that ccp knows would be popular are the expensive ones. Plus pirate skins aren't permanent.
I'm pretty butthurt about it.
In the case anyone wants to get into EVE, Mad Orc is once again running a deal on the Starter packs. 5 dollars for the core and secondary start packs, basically giving you 60 days of gametime if you upgrade from a buddy invite+a few hundred million ISK in goodies if you sell the Cerebral Accelerator.
Shit; I wish I had seen this when the deal was active. God damn

Yeah it's kinda dumb, all skins should cost the same per class of ship with the biggest example being frigate skins costing as much as dreadnought and carrier/supercarrier and even titan skins. The hull price to skin price difference between a frigate and a carrier is just ridiculous. Incursus hull sells for ~450,000 isk, a Nyx hull is ~24,000,000,000 isk, and an Avatar hull is ~100,000,000,000 isk, yet the skins cost the same. You could argue the point of mineral price over built/travel fit, but the price difference is still insane.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Z87dRaP.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/UMumLWI.jpg[/img_thumb]
Other games do this as well, biggest example being CS:GO, except with eve the price point of $ to isk is established with plex, so $20 will buy you a plex worth ~840m at current market price, and that will also buy you 4,035 AUR, but CONVERTING plex to AUR in-game will only get you 3500 AUR, so the whole system is setup to get you to buy AUR from them instead of buying skins with isk, making them more money. They really need to equalize the prices.
Now granted, these skins are permanent unlike before, meaning if you die you don't have to buy another skin, but that shouldn't justify raising the prices by 3-4x, iirc the dread skins cost ~1500 AUR before, now they cost 3400-4300, and they also devalued AUR per $ spent to make more money, not by much but still.
disappointed at the lack of caldari skins, especially on the capital side. wirykomi capital skins are barely visible.

The pirate skins are actually a really good deal. A lot of them are for sub-10 million ISK at Jita, so it'll take years for it to cost more than a perma-skin. I also think you can stack them all once at a time, so you have a year of pirate skin for 100 million ISK.
Apparently there's a bug around that lets you use any of the skins on any ship. or so I hear from Reddit.

"Firstly you need an active skin license and the ship it was originally intended for, I recommend shitty frigs. Activate the ship and go into fitting, make sure the skin is active BUT NOT APPLIED. Now open you hangar, switch into the ship you want to make pretty but ccp won't let you because lore, and hit the skin before the fitting window updates. If you timed it right the skin will be applied, and it will even show up in ship info.
Have fun, keep complaining so ccp will realize lore is a crap reason for preventing fun and revenue."
