I really wanna get back into this game. I've been playing it sort of on and off for a few years, I don't have that many skillpoints, and it gets boring to play alone. Last time I played I was in Brave Newbies, and was shooting at stuff in some Rifters. But it got boring eventually, since I didn't know any of the people in Brave Newbies. Are any of you guys in Brave Collective?
Was, then I moved to Pandemic Horde which is just as fun as Brave but funded by quadrillionaires

Also, I saw they have a mentor program, which is neat. I've always wanted to get into exploration. Might check it out at some point!
So is there any way to stop your subscription without losing the time that you have already payed for?
So is there any way to stop your subscription without losing the time that you have already payed for?
All I did was cancel the subscription since I only wanted a month and not recurring.
So is there any way to stop your subscription without losing the time that you have already payed for?
Yes, if you go to cancel your subscription there is actually an option to pick in the Reason category for "I don't want a recurring payment"
I think he means pausing the subscription so he can resume his playtime later in life. If that's it, the answer's no.
this thread sucks now
this thread sucks now
No it doesn't, it's great. It even has cupholders. Does your Ishtar have cupholders? I bet it doesn't, therefore this thread is better than Ishtars. Everything is better than Ishtars. Now if you excuse me, I have to go on a heavy missile Drake roam while crying about the good old days. At least it has cupholders.
it SUCKS
New dude moved in here and we are playing the 30 day trial currently. What is a good way to make money? I am mostly just ganking rats, mining veldspar, reprocessijng to tritanium and manufacturing stuff from it.

It's a total grind, and not worth it, however, if you so wish, go ahead. Being in a trial account might limit things a bit in terms of corp options, but I'm sure if you make a good impression on the recruiter, you'll have luck finding a corp. Exploration in null is relatively challenging without a cloak, but if you do good route planning, strategic use of secure cargo containers, and cheap ships, you should do relatively well. Once you get several hundred million ISK from your preferred income source, doubling that to a PLEX should be relatively easy via the market.
Lvl 4 faction warefare missions at teir 4 is awesome, 55k lp a mission. I do a run of 15 missions, accepting them all then poping them; all done on my alt. Then i run the missions on my main in a ishtar fitted for warp speed rigs. Iskiskisk from the lp is insane, made 10 bil from passive afking through low sec in these missions this month. 2 hours for 1 mil lp. The going is gud.
this thread sucks now
check check opsec bro we can't let people outside facepunch know that
Exploration was pretty good to me as a newbie. Even just doing highsec, I found a string of systems with low player traffic, and it was almost the lowest security before being in lowsec. I made enough money to buy myself an astero before long. I liked the concept of nullsec exploration in an astero because when properly fitted they can slip past loads of things, I heard that if you are quick you can slip by gate camps and the like. Pretty much its just picking up cash off of the ground, and if you get lucky you can really cash in.

It's doable without a cloak, but you will lose a lot of what you find.
If you could cloak there would be no need to pay for scout alts.
Yes, but how is a rookie supposed to afford a scout alt?
Yes, but how is a rookie supposed to afford a scout alt?
Long term players would just make random new accounts to scout for intel, sit in system for 30 days then make a new one.
Long term players would just make random new accounts to scout for intel, sit in system for 30 days then make a new one.
I think there was some miscommunication on my part, my apologies. I meant that the main problem with exploring a trial account is lack of cloak, which makes it hard for them to survive. Not that we should change it, I was just making a comment on how it's a shortcoming for exploration on a trial account.
Exploration long term is not advisable on a trial account, but for some isk to get started I found it pretty handy.

I am so stoked for that Police Skin. Hopefully the Ishtar is next to get one.
Yes, but how is a rookie supposed to afford a scout alt?
don't be a trail account then you can use a cloak, thing is to be sneaky with a cloak, you need cloaking 4 so you can use covert ops cloak (warp while cloaked) with that you can survive all low sec camps.
