They seem like they'll be a pretty great addition to the game honestly.
You can't only post that one, here:
but 200b would have been a fair price.
If the fan speculation of 1 ISK = $2'000'000 is roughly correct then that thing costs $400 quadrillion dollars. Estimates place the first Death Star at costing roughly $850 quadrillion dollars, which is a mere 150km across.

Feels nice they're finally starting to add more content instead of removing or nerfing existing stuff.
Guy declares was on a corp with an inactive pos in high sec and gets for his reward's, supercapital and tech 2 bpos.

You just destroy the labs and what not at the POS and hope the Loot Fairy is on your side. No structures besides CHAs, SMAs and the tower generate kill mails AFAIK though, so that's probably why it wasn't on any of them.

Bye bye stinking off-grid links, bye bye.
Probably sometime early next year, talking Jan/Feb early.
good bye link alt then
good bye link alt then
On what CCP is planning to do in the future for skillpoints.
1.Extract link skillpoints 2? 3.Profit!
i guess i can only do that to that character anyway and i dont know what i would reskill into with that sp
So links will only work on the same grid as the fleet?
im guessing yes
it was an inevtiable change i guess
Well, thinking of coming back, but I need to make sure that the game can run on a intel M-5Y10c. Not so much worried about the graphics, but more that I can run it before dropping the money again.
So is the faction warfare more or less boredom-skirmishes along the borders because no one really wants to fight?
I've got back into EVE again after about five years, when I played about 8 months or so. Got back into it since they're offering a full month trial, rather than the 14 before. I've been having a heck of a lot of fun. Before I focused a lot on PvE, which didn't net me much ISK, and I wasn't very savvy with my money with trading. I was pretty much perma-poor.
This time around I've been focusing on trading, and I've been a lot more successful. After about a day or so I've progressed from my starting Ibis to a Heron to a Badger. I was never that quick in ship progression my previous playthroughs. I'm finding jumping through space, doing big trade runs with a lot of small ones on the route, a lot of fun! Kind of odd, I suppose, since it's just a numbers game.
I'm definitely not rolling in cash at the minute, but making the ISK I want to make has taken a massive part of the grind out of the game that made it a struggle to play before. Glad I was able to revisit this game with a new experience, it's been very worthwhile. I suppose I've become more patient since my teenage years, I'd rather ferry goods and watch the market than get stuck into fighting rats and Sleepers like I did before!

Keep in mind that, while the new player experience has definitely been improved, some major, major in-game events have taken place and the entire face of the market/value of isk has also drastically changed with it.
Inflation is a bit of a problem right now (price of PLEX is around 1 billion, I think), but the new ships and structures coming soon should definitely spice things up a bit.
I don't have an active sub right now, but feel free to ask me about some points in the game.

Yeah, you're not wrong there. Thankfully with the experience I got from playing it almost solid for those 8 months, I'm accustomed to a fair amount of the game, and the new player experience has made adjusting back to the game a lot easier than I had thought it would be. Definitely, though, seeing the inflation has come as a shock. I've only been following EVE on and off since my last sub, and some of the item prices are staggering - particularly ships. Ships were dirt-cheap when I played before.
So far I've been having success since I've been made sure to get decent profit margins, especially since the sales tax is hitting me hard with my low-skills (levelling skills to help decrease that now). Plus I've been making sure that if I'm having to do long trades, I'm selling at least two or three other sets of items along the way. Makes me more money, and makes it more interesting.
I suppose any advice at the minute would be focused on trade. Even though I played before, I hardly ever focused on the market. Just grinded agent missions and went either solo-ratting or going into low/null-sec/wormhole-space with the corp I was in, which earned me money, but not a whole lot. Still new to the market, even though I've been comparatively more successful. Any tips in that regard would be appreciated.

I was pretty much in the same boat, the problem I always had with EVE is that I was never able to find any decent money making opportunities that I found to be worth my time. I did a bit of everything at one point; production, pi, ratting, exploration, null/low adventuring and going on fleet roams but never really made much of anything with any of it.
I've very recently started getting into trading, I had about 8b or so to throw into the market and it's been by far the best earner I've ever come across and there's virtually no risk involved either unless you want to risk predicting the market.
Once you have billions upon billions to throw into the market, you do start earning a whole lot much quicker so it's just about how much you can sink into the market for a return, it scales pretty well in that regard.
I'm gonna get back into EVE and play religiously once Winter Break starts for me.
My friend wants me to fly Logi for him. Huginn/Rapier mainly, except I hate Logi.
I'll just start training l4 for all Battleship skills.

There's plenty of fighting just don't expect a fair fight. Easy to make isk from the lp.
Is anyone on here in Minmitar Faction Warfare?
I'm not sure if this could be called a bump or not. But I just got back into Eve again, and it's really comfy. Just got my hands on a Jackdaw, sure it's not the greatest out there but it's fun to fly regardless.
I've ran out of things to do in eve.
Past six years have been good but it's grown stale on me now. :(
Edit: this made me giggle.
"Available for a limited time on holonet exclusively in the Federation, this model of the widely loved Gallente battleship was advertised by a Caldari model maker, boasting unrivalled levels of detail and realism with “some assembly required.”
When the model was eventually delivered across the border, most buyers were were confused at having to dig into a box of synthetic soil, only to find that their model actually required more growth than “assembly” after coming to the realization that what they had actually paid for was quite literally, a potato."
