Is the game worth joining or is it too far down the line?
Is the game worth joining or is it too far down the line?
It's never too far down the line, as long as you get guidance how to both play the game, but also how you should train your skills. But remember the most important thing; Eve is super boring to play alone! Find a corp or alliance that you get a nice first impression of and apply to them and be sure to be social, you will enjoy the game so much more.
Poor little Fidelas Constans, losing supers being built and all because of a CCP conspiracy against them.
What did they ever do to deserve this?

I'm having so much fun in Pure Blind at the moment. Although Imperium member alliances seem to be evaporating and killing the opportunities for good fights.
Well for the first time in years, all my accounts are dead.
Bye eve, maybe in a few years time everything will seem like a different game.
Bye corpies, I left you some goodies.

Any particular reason you've decided to leave?
Any particular reason you've decided to leave?
Years of being blobed.
Unless you can field a 100+ man fleet, you are basically gone now.
Gone are the days of 40 man fleet fending off the big cats, due to the mechanics I can't do that anymore.
I wan't 2009 eve back. :(

At least you aren't being hot dropped by titans from halfway across the galaxy anymore.
Maybe you just were fighting in the wrong areas?
Still always good to take a break from eve. Apparently CCP are planning on adding dailies to eve free sp every 22 hours for killing an npc.
Naturally I absolutely hate the idea for all sorts of reasons, primarily the one is that it breaks eve's sandbox nature for something less sandboxy.
It makes eve a lesser game, a step closer to generic mmo's. Theres other valid reasons to hate this but its a long list.
Skill extractors and injectors take from an existing pool, so I don't mind that plus some gets evaporated in the process but this just adds more
from nowhere and contradicts CCP saying 'while we make sure there is one single mechanism that brings new skill points in to the system – training.'
a couple of months ago. They announced this between CSM sessions which makes me VERY suspicious of their intentions for the game.
I'll keep playing unless they add them.
Remember, Fanfest starts today. There will be a livestream on their twitch channel, I'm kinda hype actually.
I'm getting that urge to play eve again, same as previously to when I last played my desire is to play more stealthy roles like bombers or scouts, if I recall correctly I have a very basically fit nemesis and helios on my character.
What exactly should I be looking to do that suits that kind of role?

Apart from capital rebalance, new capital modules, new capitals, citadels, capital npcs we will now be able to move all ships using the same homeworld kind of interface used to move fighters in carriers/supercarriers.

You can use the helios for exploration to find tasty relic sites with t2 salvage, the nemesis is often used in groups for bombing in null space. Nemesis can be used for hunting explorers.
Of course getting in a group helps a good deal, it increases your options in certain areas. Stratios is a SOE cruiser that can use a cov ops cloak, its quite popular, astero soe frigate also uses a cov ops cloak.
T3 ships with cov ops sub-system, recon t2 ew ships like the Arazu the same.
resub, all the kool kids are doing it

low/null exploration with covops -> solo WH sites with t3
go bomb shit with bombers bar if they're still around, or join horde/test/anyone involved in the war
Huh, i was finally kicked outta TEST for inactivity. I'm free

You are indeed free brother, now join us in the future of eve. (any corp)
Its been deployed yay!
Already the killmails of Citadel bpos are tickling in - https://zkillboard.com/kill/53593308/
Home stations appear to have been reset to your starting school location, so redo them from your local stations clone service if you want.
Some kind of bug with moving ships, clearing the cache seems to fix them, so that's first thing I did. Remember you can opt out of the new map, scanning window and camera in General Settings in-game.
chat had like 5 people in it yesterday, and EVE had its highest PCU count in a number of months

Gaze among my amazing accomplishment and weep upon the amount of pvp experience I am learning.
https://zkillboard.com/kill/53727962/
I spent 4 hours for this.
I also learned that you lose security status for scramming the pod regardless if you destroyed it or not.
All of these poor citadels are getting dropped.
Sunk a fuckload of isk setting up a network of PI planets to take advantage of the citadel building materials. After sinking in said money i remembered i had forgotten to check for customs offices on my planets. There were none. I have to use command center launches to get my product up into space. I replaced the launchpad with a T2 factory so i could refine things further since i now have a vastly more limited space in which to transport cargo.

Small steps on the road to greatness/mediocrity.
Killed an FDU member. Sigh another pilot to make -10. Mooman1080 set to -10.
I fucking love Extractors. I was able to convert all my wasted skills in to SP and now I can suddenly fly a Vargur with near perfect skills. Bye bye ~4M Mining/Processing SP!
Just started playing again. This character has a really good PvE set-up. I just outrange everything with Sentry Drones.
I'm looking at getting into PvP though. A friend of mine has a group I'm going to join. Gonna get into flying a Command Destroyer, since they came out while I wasn't playing.

Small ship PVP in low sec is the most fun PVP in the game.
Currently training an alt to be a master of Frigates/Destroyers/Cruisers just for PVP. :v:
Damn, logged back in after a 2 year hiatus. My previous Corp has disbanded, which means my main is all the way out in null-sec. I've got like 40 million ISK worth of assets (grand scheme of things, not a lot of money, but it's all I have) with no way of getting this shit back to a safer zone.
Not sure what to do tbh. I didn't resub cause it's exams right now and I feel like this'll take a bunch of time to sort out. Would my best bet be selling all that shit on the market or? It's like 4 or 5 different ships.

If you really need it out, black frog.

Is that a freighter company? I've been told on numerous occasions that the cost of fuel to ship it back somewhere like Jita would be more expensive than the items I'm shipping...
Some people said I could put a support ticket in and get all my stuff teleported by a GM but I don't know how likely that is to work.

Gms will do this if I remember correctly due to mechanics with station and corps. Try a support ticket and see.

CCP will move your stuff out of null. Open up a ticket with their support.
dailies are starting up in 4 days, log in and get ur free SP
bumpin thread because I kept my sub going, which I'm somewhat surprised at. WWB is at a relative standstill, goons are stuck in saranen and haven't been forming much even for hostile citadel timers. I'm getting drunk and whelping shit while I work on my solo flying again. FP chat isn't super active but consistently has a few people in it. With the upcoming links nerf + hopefully pls god t3d nerf, as well as the new dailies system, it should be one of the better times in recent years to get into the game.
