Log in, get podded. Turns out some pvp corp is camping a 0.4 stargate instagibbing everyone that comes through using autopilot. So that's why there's a warning when you go from 0.5 system to a lower one.

Never use Autopilot. Unless you have nothing valuable on you and it's through highsec, then you can get away with it. Usually
Was it Tama? Avoid like the plague if you aren't there for pvp. Even when undocking from station you get shot like 50% of the time and gates are almost permacamped

It's a great ship for fighting and exploration, but if you're hauling stuff, a blockade runner might be better.

None of the larger corporations or alliances I've been a part of have conducted their buisness like this. And I've been in plenty of larger null sec focused corporations that held sov space.
It's actually surprising how easy it is to get to a position where you can steal billions from a corporation. I remember a corporation I was a part of that gave me access to over 10bil worth of assets within a month of joining.

Can confirm. A few years back when I played I made a character specifically for trying different types of social deception. I managed to get a guy to make me "Director of Finance" for his corporation after a week of joining. The corp had 2 billion in the wallets. Grabbed and ran. It's a lot for a newbie like me who still to this day cannot make "billions of isk EZ-PZ" like everyone else can.
Recently jumping back into eve for some exploration shenanigans, and I've picked up a stratios as well. Here's the fitting I've got so far, and I'm not quite happy with it.

Now I'm not very experienced with armour tanking, but should I go for a bigger buffer with trimark pumps or should I go with nano pumps. I also have 1 free high slot, thinking of either shield/armor remote rep, but is it worth it in just a 2man group.
Are gecko's worth it for the cost, considering the stratios is at least decently pricy.

Throw some rigs in the slots. No sense in wasted potential. Throw another neut in the high slots if your skills allow it. Swap the data analyzer for a relic analyzer. Geckos are great, but not required. Ogre IIs will give you better bang for the buck.

I would say no. If you're going so far as to drag a rep mod around just to keep your expensive drones alive, you should probably seek cheaper alternatives.

Welcome to the easy way. Incursions are handy for sec status too, since I do incursions on my main PvP toon. Pirate Leif.

Damn, I need to get in to incursions. I'm only making around ~40-50m ISK / hr running L4 missions in hisec(Though I usually AFK and I don't play as efficiently as I can, I'm not blitzing missions in a mach.)
Are there any good shield fleets out there? I can fly Loki/Scimi/Vargur/Machariel/Sleipnir, pretty much proficient in almost every sub-cap minmatar ship.
TVP seems like a solid go, I'm tempted to try and get in on that as well.
The information TVP hands out about how their operations are conducted are a bit all over the place but the TVP channel has been helpful. When in doubt, the fits and doctrines in the channel MOTD are always up to date.
I can't even find where to apply or join TVP. The only Corporations I can find have 1 member. And the join buttons on the website don't do anything
I doubt they'd take an Armor tanking Hurricane. And I don't think a shield tanking Drake outputs enough DPS for their taste anyway

Most incursion fleets bring Logi cruisers(Scimitar and Basilisk are the main ones), Tech 3 cruisers(Loki primarily, idk if any fleets would take Tengus) and battleships(Most groups focus on pirate battleships and t2 marauders but some groups will take T1 battleships such as a Raven or Maelstrom at times)
I think the easiest way to get ready for incursions is to just focus on getting your logistic skills up so you can fly a Basilisk and/or Scimitar. Running a battleship you're probably going to need T2 guns which takes a long time to get, also the necessary gunnery and ship skills to fly for example a Machariel efficiently.

I don't know if this helps or does anything since im fairly new aswell but what i usually do is i warp to a planet or somenthing else and while in mid warp i set a waypoint to my location while im flying towards the planet in warp and when i arrive at the planet i just warp to the location/waypoint spot i made which is in the middle of nowhere
