Before I fitted a cloak I'd just warp to a planet 70km, then pick a direction, throw the MWD on and burn the fuck on as I scanned
I can't even find where to apply or join TVP. The only Corporations I can find have 1 member. And the join buttons on the website don't do anything I doubt they'd take an Armor tanking Hurricane. And I don't think a shield tanking Drake outputs enough DPS for their taste anyway
TVP doesn't have a corp to join, they do pickup groups. Read their wiki first: https://wiki.thevalhallaproject.info Read their newbro guide 2-3 times over: https://wiki.thevalhallaproject.info/doku.php?id=guides:newbro_guide Make sure you have the minimal skill requirements: https://wiki.thevalhallaproject.info/doku.php?id=guides:minimum_skill_requirements Then go in "The Valhalla Project" channel in-game and check the required fits, those are always up to date. The ones on the wiki aren't. If you have questions, ask away in that channel because there's a lot of missing info on their wiki. If you have the required fits, skills and have read the newbro guide, check the waitlist here: https://wl.thevalhallaproject.xyz/ Make sure to go to the staging system first. Paste the fit you have in the required field and apply to the waitlist. In the comments to FC, make sure to mention you're a newbro. It might seem daunting at first but once the ball gets rolling it becomes routine easily. Sure, the waitlist can be long at times but once you're in the fleet you can stay as long as you want if you can do your job with at least a minimal level of competence. Yeah, the fit and skill requirements might seem a bit extreme but the efficiency speaks for itself when you do a minimum of 35million every 15 minutes.
I don't know if this helps or does anything since im fairly new aswell but what i usually do is i warp to a planet or somenthing else and while in mid warp i set a waypoint to my location while im flying towards the planet in warp and when i arrive at the planet i just warp to the location/waypoint spot i made which is in the middle of nowhere
Make another using that spot and a different celestial if you have the time and need something safer. They still can't warp to you with your first spot, but it'll be tougher to find you using combat probes on your second spot.
Yeah, after flying with TVP four Times so far I don't get why I was hearing people complaning about them on Reddit. The info for newbies is a bit all over the place but otherwise they're very efficient. Apparently though there's a guy called quickswipe that has a grudge against them and tries to disrupt their operations whenever he can by spooking pilots with ship scans and stealing the MTAC. For some reason one of the FCs likes to keep him around in the fleet TS3 because he's "knowledgeable" but of course in typical Eve fashion he seems to mostly have a massive ego.
It's nice when you find something you can take advantage of and it becomes a steady income because no one else has the patience to wait

Are you trying to board a capsule?
Is there any cooperative PvE content that alpha clones can do? Something along the lines of incursions but doable with cruisers/destroyers. Looking for something fun to do with friends that isn't doing piss easy missions. In the meantime, ninja-salvaging l4 mission runners has proven to be quite profitable and more exciting than PvE content that I've experienced.

You'll get some good isk and choice based of some 30 or so missions. "Keys" I was trying to get into my panther after jump cloning.
Put my alpha clone alt into faction warfare, its rather neat and a hell of alot easier to get into pvp fights than living in null. Only problem is running into people who have 1b+ isk implant sets in their head because lol no bubbles

All I've seen is that they give a whooping +1% to some system efficiency
Why are implants good? All I've seen is that they give a whooping +1% to some system efficiency
When you get a full set of implants they give an additional bonus to each implants bonus, then add that ontop of hardwired implants and its becomes a noticable difference. Plus having the high bonus hardwire implants can be the difference between fitting something really strong and not.
I've seen plenty of pics where people survive engagements with next to no hull points left. A buff of 1% could make or break you in such a situation
Are there anymore large scale PVPs? I want to start getting into this game but if player count is low I can't justify the subscription.
Are there anymore large scale PVPs? Man I'm absolutely loving how cheap pirate battleships are right now. Snagged a Rattle for 360 million which is something I thought I'd never see. What happened to cause that anyway? Navy battleships seem to be more or less where they've always been pricewise which now makes them more expensive.

With more people running the content for pirate faction LP, or doing things which drop BPCs, more pirate faction ships are available. Remember, though, that often times if you're flying pirate faction, it's worthwhile to bling your ships intelligently in the right areas. In that case, the price of the mods is often much more than the hull.
Frankly I'm terrified to fly anything special. It also seems less necessary than it used to be to seek the special ships considering all ships got a complete overhaul. I can't wait to get into my arbi again, I miss youuu [editline]6th December 2016[/editline] Also, side note, it is really scary watching this guy on youtube soloPVP in a mining barge and win. Another guy solo tank'ed upwards of 10 different ships in a gallente industrial ship until they pulled a dread in to finally kill him. He was jettisoning exotic dancers the entire time and almost killed several of them.
I'm pretty much just using it for L4s while I wait for my various ex-eve friends to get back in and get their shit together so we can go dick around in low sec or whatever. :v:
Didn't knew that metagame tools like gatecheck exist. I knew about zkillboard but to use the data for this :v: Seems pretty OP now that it saved me a ship and relic site loot
Man the Pontifex is the funnest ship I have ever flown. Who knew jumping people off HS Wormholes would be so fun. https://zkillboard.com/kill/57983249/
Pod and Planet YC118 results have been announced. http://podandplanet.wixsite.com/podandplanet/copy-of-home-1 I took home second place in the freeform category. A result that surprised even myself since my story was extremely heavy and the competition is fierce. :joy: +1 Ashimmu, Dark Blood Nos, and liquid isk totalling 2.7 Billion :v:

You're right, extremely heavy. I'd love to see more.
I was wondering how to tie in the story with recent events in light of the drifters who have been bodysnatching people. If I got to add on a bit, lets just say that [sp]the main antagonist now has a new employer of her very own, and nobody has noticed the sudden lack of biomass for fresh clones. Doomheim is now under Drifter control, and the ranks of the thousands of damned capsuleers are now added to the hostile fleets patrolling known space and wrecking everything in sight. The "Other" have managed to turn the destructive rage of capsuleers back on to themselves. Or something along those lines.[/sp] I got most of the way through writing it, and panicked because I felt like I had no explanation for anything going on and therefore had to justify everything with all the detail I could fit. Next year I will probably have a much more laid back approach for entries, but also add one to each category. The isk and in-game swag doesn't matter as much to me as someone telling me that my writing isn't bad at all. I was toying with the idea of writing a book or two, now I am taking that idea much more seriously.
Played Eve from 13 to 17 years of age: never made more than 1 Billion ISK. Got back in again at 24 years of age and respecced my skills for Incursions: 6 Billion ISK in 3 weeks. :goodjob:
Abosulty love how scope keeps up with current events.

I always wanted to try one but the ship entrypoint always turned me away. Maybe I'll train into T2 logi, everyone needs logi, right?
Abosulty love how scope keeps up with current events.
Any of you guys participating? Horde is handing out logis and ewar friga for this op so all of us are tagging along to get blasted lol
Any of you guys participating? Horde is handing out logis and ewar friga for this op so all of us are tagging along to get blasted lol
Probably not since we are a wormhole alliance and have no business in null anyway.
Damn, are incursions really that lucrative? I always wanted to try one but the ship entrypoint always turned me away. Maybe I'll train into T2 logi, everyone needs logi, right?
I'm tagging along TVP. Good thing is you don't need to join a corp, it's entirely fleet-based. You have to keep in mind though that they have minimum skill requirements and specific accepted fits. There's a good reason for it though. Just today, we had another fleet that was trying to contest our sites but we out-damaged them every time meaning we got the reward and they didn't. This is only possible because of those strict requirements.
