Indeed. I would greatly prefer updated clouds and nebulae to what we have now. I always felt kind of warm and comfortable in space with the old clouds and shit. The new stuff, where 90% of it is blackness with the remaining 10% inside the nebulae, just doesn't feel as inviting.
i like the current nebula. eve's art and design used to be openly surrealist and now it's attempting realism. i'm not sure one is better or worse outside of personal preference. for example the asymmetry really bugs some people, but i never really understood how you could look at eve's old art assets, which look like mechanical insects and animals and weird shit and then get annoyed at symmetry. everything has a surrealist tone to it when you're using ancient shitty compressed textures and low poly models anyway. it's harder to pull off in high def.
so is eve valkyrie ever going to exist?
so is eve valkyrie ever going to exist?
If theyre going to say anything about it, it will be at GDC again.
"BRAVE is not a democracy" "That's just your opinion" fuck why are all these TEST chucklefucks waltzing into the BRAVE subreddit anyway? [editline]10th February 2015[/editline] They're getting angry on our behalf for 'new' rules saying you can't be a prick to BRAVE admins in public. Something something new world order freedom of speech These guys wouldn't survive a week on Facepunch.
TEST are fucking cancer.
TEST are fucking cancer.
I think almost all Reddit based corps are cancer. They're completely unprofessional, and they're the face of EVE on Reddit, which taints its image.

I tried out the character creation thing in this and never got further because I was so fascinated just dicking around with that. My character somehow ended up looking like Lenin.
in 2011 when the new character creator was introduced i immediately went to make a female character and i played with her boobies
I started laughing my ass off for like half an hour when I realized I had made a space lenin and he was a caldari.
I think we can all agree what the next set of lore events should be: It is the year YC115. New Eden is gripped between the god-like capsuleers, the alien Drifters, and space-communists led by Spac Elin In. When the Drifters came, the capsuleers banded together to maintain the status quo, but the Drifters and their superior tech destroyed all opposition. The two forces were locked in a stalemate, immortals vs gods. But then, the people, in their mortality, threw off the chains of capsuleer oppression and a communist insurrection arose among the stars, however it was disjointed and unable to gain ground. That is, until a Deteis statesmen by the name of Spac Elin In captivated the people with his series of speeches in Caldari space. He roused the people into formal a formal movement and began taking ground against both the capsuleers and Drifters. Meanwhile, the 4 empires cower in the corner in the face of sure death. It is a period of war, it is the death of the old order. (nevermind, it isn't embedding right, anyway, new Scope video) According to the ticker, wormholers are now fundamentalist terrorists.
so CCP is going to have the chinese eve server face off against our eve server, alliance tournament style.
so CCP is going to have the chinese eve server face off against our eve server, alliance tournament style.
I was about to ask how many players Chinese EVE even has, but then I realised that even a miniscule percentage of their population would even the two out.
Serenity peaks at around 13,014 according to http://eve-offline.net/?server=serenity
I didn't know there were so many servers (even though half are testing related I assume)
I didn't know there were so many servers (even though half are testing related I assume)
The only one on there that I'd heard of (outside of Tranq and Singularity) was Duality.
At fanfest last year they rolled Buckingham (Or duality, I don't remember) into one of the rooms on a pallet jack to run the PVP room. so 20 clients were connected to it and we had our matches on it.
So as I'm starting to look more into returning to EVE, should I create another toon to focus on a certain aspect of EVE such as trading and mining or should I invest that into my main toon? What is usually more efficient?

For trade, there aren't many skills to learn and you'll want to have your trade toon in the same station so he can update orders and stay on the ball. Manufacturing can be done on a main or an alt, but manufacturing might be best as an alt, as it's rather routine and you'll want the extra industry slots. For T1 manufacture, 2-3 weeks of training should be sufficient. I don't mine, so I can't give you my own experience, but my conclusion is that the number of ships you deploy is the name of the game. The amount of ISK is practically nothing comparatively speaking, and you'll have a hard time keeping your head above the water with a single char. For most PvP, the corps will want your main, however faction warfare alts could theoretically work. I myself run a main, an industry alt, and a market alt, although I've had PI alts that are now unsubbed. Basically, you'll want a separate toon for activities that are rather routine or sedentary.
Well I reactivated for the first time in a long time and right now I am trying to focus on mining and revisitng my old PI sites that I left long ago. I want to see if these two could be my primary source of income and could help fund my PVP activities.
Mining and PI are the quickest way to unsubscribing
PVPing and making money as you PVP is the quickest way to get the year subsccription/plexing
tbh i've never made sustainable money pvping unless you count awoxing which you shouldnt, and i wasn't even bad
Well I will probably compliment my mining with industry manufacturing which will also be complimented by exploring and searching for blueprints.. I'm not going to totally dedicate my time to just mining and PI, and I will not be constantly seeking fleet action. I just want to be have a steady ISK flow and I believe PI and Mining are the foundations to that.
