Yeah, if you try and turn-and-burn dogfight while going full throttle the G-forces are going to take care of you fairly quickly. Especially in a 350R which has one of the top speeds in the game.
So I decided to give this another go and I had a blast for about 10 minutes until the ship I was on apparently decided to fuck off to somewhere else, leaving me stranded in the middle of deep space [t]https://i.imgur.com/X37eYqv.jpg[/t] yay alphas
It's likely that there's going to be at least one more chance to get a 350R before launch, so you'd likely be able to get a 350R upgrade token then. But yes, you can only unmelt (buyback) the base package, not what it was upgraded to at the time of melt. You get the full value of what you spent back (base+upgrades) when melting, but it doesn't come back upgraded.
I have the option to buyback a digital bounty hunter package I melted way back in the day and used the credit to buy the connie package at the time. Would buying that package back effect my connie one? If not then would I be able to trade my bounty hunter package on the gray market. Is that even still viable?

You'll have the two packages sitting side by side. You could grey market it, but note that CIG now officially discourages the grey market. They won't kick your ass for quietly bringing that package back and then moving it to someone else, but they won't help you at all either of the transaction goes south.
Watching BadNewsBaron's stream. How much is a BH package worth these days anyway? I remember there being a reddit for this sort of stuff back in the day.
https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen_trades
Thanks, was browsing a bit to get an idea what they sell for. On a side note, has there been any word about whether CIG will include any of the other ships from TNGS competition? I know they mentioned they might do it a while back, but I'm curious if there's been any follow through on that. I still really want the Scimitar.
There has been no official word, that I know of, as to any definite plans to build/finish any of the other TNGS ships; however, in an episode of Bugsmashers about a year ago, Mark scrolled through a long list of XML files as part of an episode, and among other things was an XML file clearly marked as belonging to the Boomslang. CIG has not confirmed that any of the runners-up are either in or confirmed cut and dead. Like the Dragonfly, they sometimes hold onto things and come back to them later.
Shimapan Brutus best ship.
Aurora + Korro Bravin best ship.
Shimapan Brutus best ship.
I might agree with you if it didn't look like the ship had been cut in half.
Is it just me or are Avengers absolutely impossible to kill in Squadon Battles? I mean, a pair of S1 repeaters and a Tarantula isn't stellar firepower but I was hoping to at least see a dent in their shields after sustained fire.
Anyone know why I would suddenly have 5000REC when yesterday I had 0?
You can check your REC log in your account. If you used the freefly account during Gamescom, I wouldn't be surprised if it was that.
Weird, there's nothing at all in the log. Oh well, time to try out some stuff.
I saw your comment so I checked mine today Jesus christ I have 10,000 rec :v:
I never use my rec [t]http://techbot.xyz/ShareX/screenshots/2016/08/24/Roberts_Space_Industries_-_Google_Chrome_22-18_2380.png[/t]
You must've played a LOT of AC. Damn.
Not really. Just be a subscriber long enough and you'll have enough REC to coat an Idris.
One thing that was said recently concerned me. That buying ships in game with UEC would cost far, far more than their current UEC to dollar conversion rate in the store suggested. Granted, if they stop selling ships when the game's out that won't be an issue. If, however, they keep selling ships for real world money, it'll make it so that the game greatly favours those who spend real dollars on ships while others have to grind for months. That's kind of the opposite of what we were promised, so I sure hope the economy is reasonable.
They did kinda promise to stop selling ships for real money. So I'll hold on to that for now.
Haven't they said numerous times that they'll stop selling ships for real money when/before the game is released? [editline]25th August 2016[/editline] Ninja'd
CIG's most recent (unofficial) mumblings seem to indicate that there'll be a few packages, allowing someone to buy in with, say, a Freelancer instead of just basically an Aurora, but there wouldn't be any addon ships -- once you buy in on a package, it's in-game only. The higher-tier ship packages would be pledge-like support for the ongoing development costs, and wouldn't be intended on enabling a ship cash shop scenario. However, this is unconfirmed, so don't anyone reach for pitchforks.
they are going to stop selling ships though; they're only selling UEC, so if ships cost more UEC than they do now, that affects both grinding UEC and buying UEC the same amount [editline]edit[/editline] dear god how long did I leave this page open
Also, the current cash-to-UEC ratio isn't final; anyone who spends cash on UEC now is pledging to support the project as with anything else on the pledge store.
another LTI ship, only 235 USd https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Standalone-Ships/Anvil-Terrapin-LTI guess the era of chance for sub 50 bucks LTI ship is gone forever ..
