i figured out the workaround eventually. close the ramp right after you enter and the floor should stay solid.
I do that everytime since it bugs me to have an open ramp. It didn't help. I managed to enter the next section throguh the floor and get to the cockpit chair but it just bugged up and put me in some sort of turret mode with my hands being all over the place.

After doing tons of crazy shit to my computer to get it to work. Goddamnit.
oh dang, it's changed quite a bit from the original concept hasn't it?
I hope you can marry and get kids in the future

The wing attachments are also not in that WIP pic, so the wingtips seem clipped inwards when they likely won't be once those hardpoints are fitted.

The full glass canopy looks really fragile and doesn't seem very fitting for the manufacturer aesthetic.
Yeah that canopy kinda kills the ship for me.
I did a thing and it's OK.
I imagine in the future, not long after the PU launches, Korro taking a selfie in EVA and posting it on FP. Behind him, a scene of horror and destruction reigns. A Bengal-class carrier, the pride of the UEE Navy, is being evacuated, escape pods and fighters streaming from its bays. It seems in relatively good repair, save the bridge of the ship, which is in ruins, secondary explosions cooking off inside its structure, sending pieces of debris spinning off into the black. Clearly visible, lodged in one of the clear armored windows that dominate the bridge, is the tail end of an RSI Aurora with its powerplant in meltdown. "I did a thing and it's OK."
I did a thing and it's OK.
where'd you get the soundtrack for this? It gave me a musical boner like the force awakens soundtrack did (fuckin williams ohmygod pls)
where'd you get the soundtrack for this? The maker is "Hundred Days Music" on YT, linked to the original piece in the video description.
is star citizen goin on steam or something because i noticed this on the workshop main page and when i click on it it redirects me to the steam store front page :v:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/6KCYOxh.png[/t] The appid and the thumbnailed image's real URL. Full size of the file being thumbnailed. The appearance in the workshop is likely a fuckup/side effect of art being contributed to consider in Steamworks, but we may have found Squadron 42's Steam page days after stealth creation. We were told that starting in January, SQ42 was going to be split off from packages and sold separately. BTW, during a 24-hour livestream from like two and a half years ago, CR confirmed that they would put SC on Steam and other platforms as well as sell it themselves.

If you're looking for more like that in the future, the channel "Mortifer V" is my favorite. His Cosmos volume 1+2 mixes are some of my favorites

You're right, mostly just the canopy. It's funny how the textures alone brought it pretty far into the world of Star Citizen such that it fits in more with the other ships. I think I like the new canopy, even if the old one was more slick. Can't hate more visibility, though. I own one now :v:
http://www.vulture.com/2015/12/gillian-anderson-x-files-c-v-r.html gillan anderson on squadron 42
the recent project that’s most mind-boggling to her is an action video game, Squadron 42, due later in 2016, that she filmed with Gary Oldman and Mark Strong. Anderson got out her phone to show me pictures of herself at work on the game. She was in some sort of hangar, mid–motion capture, wearing what looked to be a rudimentary Halloween costume — Ping-Pong balls stuck to Lycra, a helmet with dangling things that turned out to be tiny cameras. “Here I am, in this ridiculous getup, and the furniture’s made of plywood. There are like 45 cameras in the room,” she said. “To be in this suit, seriously saying ‘Abort mission!’ or whatever it is.” Anderson crumples into incredulous laughter.

apparently star citizen devs are banning people for off-site activity??? Does he fly with goonswarm? I think he's the FC that told us to shut the fuck up after op success so he could light a bong and smoke it on TS

Also I like the Reliant now, especially after playing Elite Dangerous. Once I get a VR setup, probably nearly a year or so from now, it'll be ridiculously useful. For now it'll just be pretty but exploring in the Asp is different than exploring in the other elite ships that have tiny canopies. Being able to look around is nicer, even if the aesthetics aren't as pleasing Also I hope to high heaven there's more to do than there is in Elite, and that it isn't as grindy. Elite is fun, but it's just made me want SC to be fully finished already even more. It does scratch my space game itch for now, though [editline]10th January 2016[/editline] Wait a second. Look behind the cockpit - there's nothing there. It's an open space. In the other concept, there's like a sheathe over a fair part of the canopy, with some of it clearly hidden further back. I think that's still the case here, they just haven't modeled that armor covering yet
If they're taking the Reliant into texturing from that screenshot's state, you are looking at full mesh detail (albeit a shitty low-quality render of it) for the Reliant Kore right there. [t]https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/9sf27gx0sugyir/source/Skirmisher_UniqueFeatures_AdditionalShieldGens_Final_Hobbins.jpeg[/t] [t]https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/xr1qiks5uct2rr/source/Skirmisher_InSitu_AttackChase_Final_Hobbins.jpeg[/t] And given that the variant concepts were done later on, and this is the Skirmisher (the variant that'd have canopy shielding if the Reliant was intended to come with any stock canopy shielding), I'm guessing the untextured model is no mistake. Now, as an option in the game? Sure, I could see that, but it doesn't look like it's been kept for the stock loadouts.
Not strictly Star Citizen-related, but I just started watching Firefly last night. I'm glad I did, it's brilliant.
Looking at the reliant new concept art, I feel like the centre bit of the cockpit glass should be an instrumental panel as it feels way too open, it will slightly affect visibility in the horizontal position, but won't in the vertical.
Looking at the reliant new concept art, I feel like the centre bit of the cockpit glass should be an instrumental panel, it will slightly affect visibility in the horizontal position, but won't in the vertical.
How useful is that instrument panel when you flip the switch and your ship begins flying like this? [t]https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/uesziwwkpvkacr/source/Skirmisher_OverallShip_VertConfig_Final_Hobbins.jpeg[/t] Remember, the Reliant "transforms" by rotating the rear bay and engines to go from being pitch/roll-centric to yaw/roll-centric.
Well the instruments on the instrument panel could also rotate, maintaining its usefulness. On top of that I think it will also clearly divide the co-pilot and the pilot to each have their own unique cockpit/seat area which adds to the awesomeness, similar to the freelancer.
God damm, vertical reliant is boner I have a feeling I will own a xian scout in-game.
i havent touched firefly because people complain about it being uncomplete and i dont want to be involved in another uncomplete sci-fi series (ex half-life)
Think of it like Cowboy Bebop. Most of the episodes appear to be entirely self-contained, with a generally minimalistic overarching plot. 'Course, I'm only about six episodes in. I think it's definitely worth seeing, even without final closure. There was also a feature-length movie called Serenity which attempted to wrap up the story, after the show got axed.
the movie serenity serves as the final closure
