I marked redeemer down on my list, but it is TEMPORARILY a Freelancer MIS and Drake Herald (and $10 store credit) since I was juggling its value during the sale, and also freelancers are actually flyable at the moment. Likely to see herald before redeemer gets its makeover too, so I'd like to see that. I've got the Mako so I'm set for [del]espionage[/del] news coverage but it's still really interesting stuff

Only near the end do they show a bit of previously-unrevealed internal design work. Skippable if you fell asleep on them last week. Thanks to the 19 respondents so far. Interesting little tidbits in the current data: - The Khartu-al is ascendant, with three owners (not counting myself) so far - 26.3% Concierge rate - Only two people own one ship and also state they're at their spending limit; two more own two ships and are at their limit [t]http://i.imgur.com/GltcQrx.png[/t] Alpha 2.1.0h has been pushed to the PTU. They're going to let players mess with it for a couple hours and, if everything looks good, push it to live. So, if your bandwidth has a monthly cap, maybe hold off for the live push. PTU patch notes highlights:
- Fixed the Constellation interior physics grid so it extends to include airlock boundaries. - Fixed an issue where ArcCorp was streaming in very slowly or erratically. - Made some additional improvements to the FPS performance of the Constellation Andromeda. - Fixed several causes of Error 7’s.
I am so glad they've finally figured out how to do cockpits. [editline]14th January 2016[/editline] Radar bubble is kind of in the way, but that's the sort of thing I can live with and is fairly easy to fix/ignore.
2.1 is public now edit: by now i mean in 5 minutes

2.1 is live! If you downloaded PTU 2.1.0h, you can rename your Test folder to Public (after renaming Public to something else) and verify and you'll download practically nothing at all and be ready to go already like I am. Let's see if I can get into an instance with CIG people. :v:

I'm guessing that's because the PTU files are closer to what Live is right now?
if I wasn't at work I'd find a fitting post to redirect you to in the deviant art appreciation station
I sexually Identify as a Vanguard Harbinger. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the kingships dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting vanduul. People say to me that a person being a fighter-bomber is Impossible and I’m fucking retarded but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a plastic surgeon install variable-sweep wings, Behring M4A cannons and Talon anti-ship torpedoes on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me “Vanguard” and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a fighterphobe and need to check your internet spaceship privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.

Better get used to your wings being repaired all the time from people shooting it off or bumping into things. I hope that extending your wings increases your signature level too.
can't upgrade my ship despite them putting the vanguard back on sale ok happy with my connie anyways

I mean, it would result in increases in handling due to slightly lowered wing loading when in atmosphere. Otherwise in space they can go with increased area for sensors, something about spacetime wake being stabilized, heatsinks, etc. [editline]14th January 2016[/editline] I mean if SC uses Krasnostav tubes as its vague concept for FTL, or something of that like, having a wider generation area should help the FTL drives afaik
can't upgrade my ship despite them putting the vanguard back on sale ok happy with my connie anyways
Looks like the upgrade SKUs aren't stocked yet. I'm sure they'll fix that by tomorrow afternoon. [t]http://i.imgur.com/rmjcUFP.jpg[/t] BTW if you've got the REC, the Vanguard Warden is on Electronic Access (spotted by Jono).
how is performance in Crusader now? better than it was in the PTU?
Better, but it still bogs down the more people are in the instance. Some of the performance issues are now properly localized instead of applying to everyone in the instance. Olisar tends to be laggy from ship spawning but fucking off to Yela when no one else's around helps.
reliant's loaner is still an aurora mr :scream:
oh jesus, the armor design in this months studio report [t]https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/i99ptegxjadc7r/source/UEEMARINE.jpg [/t] I like it
Since 2.1 has finally hit Live, I can share this helpful little bug with the world. You can buy ship ROMS with REC from https://robertsspaceindustries.com/electronic-access and not only will these ships show up in Crusader, but using them in Crusader DOES NOT USE A DAILY ALLOWANCE. I've been able to fly all of the ships for over a month. So before you actually buy another ship, you can give it a test drive without having to ask someone to donate theirs.
Just applied to the FP Corp and filled out the census. <3
fpcorp's first ride together in Arch's Vanguard goes about as well as can be expected. My voice was muted in the recording as it turns out.

Vanguard is nice so far, but it's certainly a ship geared toward flying straight at something. Those 4 lasers and a the ballistic cannon blow through pirates fast. If you can line them up.

If you can line them up.
That's what it was described as and built for. Its current top cruise speed is 1545m/s, the fastest in the game so far (according to 2.0 speeds) by almost 300m/s. The only thing we've seen fly faster than that in the 2.0 engine is the planetary PG demo (~2km/s) and that's for the obvious and excusable reason that the speed was selected as the right speed to look good and not be too fast or too borefucking slow for a good demo rather than any sort of balance or physics consideration. Also, in that Vanguard video, Korro's "oh yes!" is in response to me announcing the Vanguard's top speed, not the toilet. But I like how it turned out better. :v:

It acts like it's name suggests. I want to see how effective it is ambushing a Connie or Lancer.
MESSAGE Hi, I'm taipan on the forums and finally got around to pledging. Would like to join Yall. Br, Tai. RESPONSE If you can't follow the simplest of instruction in the recruitment info you don't deserve being part of FPCORP.
You guys always such assholes?
