Was just invited to a Rogue Trader campaign, oh boy, this is going to be fun. I don't see many people here talking about Rogue Trader, does nobody here play it?
It's pretty dated at this point, Only War and Black Crusade have much smoother rules and better character customization. Homebrewing stuff for those so you can Trade Roguishly seems to be fairly common compared to playing the old version.

I used to have a solid group years ago, but I haven't played it since then and I'm quite happy that I've been invited to one recently. I was told I could play as a Null/Blank so I'm totally going to try and stand next to the psyker at all times :v:
I've only been in one Dark Heresy game but it was probably the most fun I've had, really need to find another. Just wish my schedule wasn't always changing so I could actually find a group.
Also consider: Dark Heresy Second Edition I dunno how good/bad it is, but it's newer than the other two, technically.
It's good but highly limited in scope, unless they released a bunch of books for it when I wasn't looking.
Re: Rogue Trader, I love the system, but I can't for the life of me find Battlefleet Koronous or Into The Storm for any less than fucking ridiculous pricing (I have PDFs, I want hard copies), because they're out of print and everyone will tell you're they're the must-have supplements for that game. Other than that though, It's pretty good.

It doesn't really give me the same tactile satisfaction, but it works.

It'll take a bit of hack work to get DH2 to do anything other than Inquisition agents, though. Either that or just cut out a load of options.
An excerpt from Elowin's Vampire game:
Jack lights his second molotov and throws it through another window. Jack: Y'know, it might be one of the biggest threats to our existence, but fire is fucking cool. Jack leans on the car and watches the blaze. Franklin: "This'd almost be enjoyable if it weren't for the blood curdling screams." Jack: ...Right. I've been trying my best to ignore them.
Tabletop RPG with no context is golden

Hey all. I made a tool for myself to help with prepping for sandbox/hexcrawl rpg sessions. Other people might find it useful: http://www.rhysmakesthings.com/gm_friend Theres a video walking through the features and how to use them here too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8UVPxl2zR0 If any of you have feedback on it that'd be appreciated too.

drugs are bad k? except the ones with like 2 addiction threshold those are fine
They're bad, the Michael Jackson kind of bad, bad to the bone bad
We can go to rehab together in a couple of weeks when my kamikaze habit inevitably gets out of control.
That feeling when taking a single dose of a recreational drug is enough to put you into 'you're going to be making saves for a month afterwards, if you take it again or not' while the actual combat drug user can take a dose every couple weeks and have no real chance of actually getting worse unless they start binging

I'm seriously unhappy with a lot of D&D character sheets. I feel like they are either bloated with too many boxes and unneeded boxes (why do I need three boxes for equipment?) or they don't have enough information.
If it's 5e it's because you can only attune to 3 pieces of gear at a time.
I don't mean one-liner boxes. I'm talking like backstory-sized boxes. I can understand one large box, but I can't imagine why someone would need two or more sections for that much equipment.
Quite a lot of characters have three times as much gear as backstory.
What's a null/blank?
Rare mutants that have absolutely no warp presence to the point that psykers don't work around them.
