Rare mutants that have absolutely no warp presence to the point that psykers don't work around them.
Are they unable to pass through the warp or something then? I'm not very familiar with 40K (which I assume you're talking about)
Are they unable to pass through the warp or something then? I'm not very familiar with 40K (which I assume you're talking about)
If they're on a ship that travels through the warp they'll still go with it. They're just effectively immune to psykers and daemons and shit. They have a permanent anti-magic field basically.
Quite a lot of characters have three times as much gear as backstory.
Confirming that even when I get really write-happy my gear section tends to be at least as big as most of the writing Especially when the fluff mood really strikes and I start fluffing individual items Besides, if you have a sheet that has room for everything from the word go, where's the fun in that? Probably just the 3.x nerd in me talking but if you don't start needing extra sheets or writing on the back/margins, you either have some crazy self control or are in one boring game
Giving your equipment backstory is just a way to tease your GM to destroy those items with a gelatinous cube.
Giving your equipment backstory is just a way to tease your GM to destroy those items with a gelatinous cube.
Usually the other way around with me. Although once I did squash a characters beloved dog, Olbo, who sat hopping and barking at a cyclops. Said dog was essentially integral to the characters backstory. I felt awful. :v
After reading the names of various KKK positions and their history and stuff, I can't help but laugh. I'm going to try and convince my DM to add them to the campaign. :v:
Today in Pathfinder despite numerical inferiority my summoner managed to beat our new fighter in both arm-wrestling and drinking contest truly the dice shineth upon me
You're both going to absolutely hate life next session though.

Was in a 5e campaign that allowed the experimental Unearthed Arcana psionic classes -- I took the Immortal subclass that is something of a martial psionic thing with basically regenerating temporary HP during combat. The thing is, though I was swinging a sword and wearing armor and all that fun stuff, the best thing about the whole thing is I couldn't stop making Starcraft 2 protoss references. You can abuse the 5d10 extra damage sooooo easily. Although not needing to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep is pretty fucking cool. Its quite literally an 'immortal' (sub)class. Relevent And tonight in Shadowrun, the street sam has a nice chat with a ghoul assassin, they exchange contact details and leave on good terms.
Fan of nekrogoblin huh? Everyone knows the only good goblin is a dead goblin. Everything else is bunk.

I get to play D&D from 9am to 6pm tomorrow. I'm super excited. My Warlock will certainly be going places! (assuming she doesn't die from bad choices or from 1 hit KO's)
If no one is dying from bad choices you're not in a very exciting game.
If no one is dying from bad choices you're not in a very exciting game.
As long as I don't die from bad choices, it's fine :v: It's Adventurer's League stuff so I'll be hoping from table to table.
And death means almost nothing in all, you get rezzed for cheap.
I'm stuck in Barovia, so coming back means paying a very weird price (like not having eyeballs or some crazy shit). Plus once I'm above level 4, the only way to revive myself is through paying someone to cast a resurrect spell or something, and that costs a lot :(
Good luck with that money is very hard to come by in Barovia.
I'll just not die.
I'll just not die.
Good luck with that, too. It's not a baby adventure.
I'm a little upset. I played a four hour adventure and it was super great (I obliterated the big bad boss after she touched me once), but all the games after that is for higher level characters, and I can't even do those. I talked to a DM about it and the only thing I can do is roll a new character or use a pre-gen and repeat a low level adventure I've already done

There aren't enough modules to let you advance to the next set of modules? What the fuck?
You have to grind modules in adventurers League, it's not great.
That's so dumbbbb.
Grinding in a table top RPG, good god
I don't mind doing the modules, the problem was that they only did the low level modules in the morning, and you really only have time to play one. They did different sets of modules each day. If I had showed up yesterday then I could have leveled up to the tier 2 stuff. [editline]24th July 2016[/editline]
What. What the fuck?
There are, but for some reason they put all the low level games in the morning and then stopped running them in the afternoon.
I dunno why, but the entire idea of an "adventurer's league" is pretty ridiculous. If your GM is constricted to a certain set of rules and a certain set of stories, why bother playing?
