For context, our entire party is teenagers, and superpowered monsters or not we're probably fucked against that RIP Conor At least he got to go on a date
Not to mention our glorious leader practically being oneshot by a wave of mooks
He got prison shanked in the corner pretty hard.
Not to mention our glorious leader practically being oneshot by a wave of mooks
Lets not forget the mooks line-dancing on the round after that because there was nothing else for them to do until one of us hopped onto their ship. :v:
TONIGHT ON PATHFINDER: We attempt a simple swap: gold for info on some dude's vice ship. Turns out he laced his not-LSD with fucking gunpowder, so we ended up blasting the rear of the ship off. Thankfully, we got the intel and even saved a pesudo-dragon, who has pledged his allegiance to us for a year. Everything went better then expected.
Also the ship was full of spiders on drugs, and we bet on a knife fight while we were there
Also the arcanist continues to try to be the innocent flower child after dousing 4 dudes in acid
making characters for games you'll probably never play is interesting but also sad edit: 10001 posts, am I cool yet
making characters for games you'll probably never play is interesting but also sad
Making backup characters for characters who never die is also pretty neat, but sad.
Making backup characters for characters who never die is also pretty neat, but sad.
I have something like 3 or 4 backups for my current 5e character but if she dies I'm gonna be so bummed she's the only character still alive from the start of the campaign and every time I get close to dying everyone drops what they're doing to save me I think I'm the protagonist
making characters for games you'll probably never play is interesting but also sad
I've got about a dozen RPG core rulebooks in print, plus another 5 in PDF form, that I've got characters for. Out of all of those, I've actually used about 4 of those books for actual games, most of which are failed PBP games. I feel your pain.
Anyone got an empty slot in a game that could use filling? I'm super eager to get into something.
making characters for games you'll probably never play is interesting but also sad edit: 10001 posts, am I cool yet
Can confirm, just ironed out another character I probably won't be playing for a while since I'll probably be transitioning to full time DMing soon.
Today in 3.5 we split the party in the final dungeon Today in 3.5 someone nearly dies because the party was split
Today I've learned my true ambition for my next character in Pathfinder is to somehow make a Kobold Inquisitor work and be viable. If you're an expert on Pathfinder please tell me your secrets.
Today I've learned my true ambition for my next character in Pathfinder is to somehow make a Kobold Inquisitor work and be viable. If you're an expert on Pathfinder please tell me your secrets.
Kobolds seem like they'd be a pretty good fit, as they're naturally sneaky and cunning. [editline]11th June 2016[/editline] As an Inquisitor your main advantages are going to be skills and buffs and debuffs - Judgements are wicked cool and are capable of a lot, so it's perfectly viable to go ranged focus and hang back while buffing the party and debuffing enemies. The only reason issue you're going to encounter is reduced damage thanks to your size, and RP consequences for being a Kobold
Tonight on Shadowrun: The mage gets so offended by how low the bounty on him is that he shoots a hostage in cold blood. [editline]12th June 2016[/editline] With an LMG
Not killing him with magic 0/10 would not invite to my next run
That'd be a waste of magic.
I have a mighty hankering to play some Shadowrun, but due to aforementioned time zone problems as well as a lack of a functioning microphone, my options are limited. Can't wait until I get back to the US.

After finishing the adventure path "Lost Mines of Phandelver", my 5e group has seen 4 character deaths and 1 character retire from the party. 2 of those deaths are from one player (elven ranger and dwarven barbarian), and 3 deaths happened in a single session (dwarven barbarian, half-elf warlock [this is all his fault], and fire genasi rogue). My Way of the Long Death lizardman monk retired from the group once we got paid, since he only took the job on in the first place to fund his alchemical research. Tonight we're looking at 5 new characters being introduced, since an 8th player (someone from a previous campaign we ran with our DM) is joining us, with my 11 year old eidolist (homebrew sumoner class I found) character very likely being the last one introduced tonight. Can't wait.

Once there, the constant worry that you lose the one set of light weapons you get dex to damage with sets in. Rogue life is a tough one, but somebody has to do it. You aren't going to see the barbarian or fighter dressing up like maids.

Our ranger got an inspiration point for licking an arrowhead before firing it up a mammoth's ass and killing it. The paladin got one early on for praying. I didn't get any for using phantasmal force to distract a white dragon with a "fire elemental" so it wouldn't just go and kill a good portion of the party, or at all throughout this campaign for my various illusion antics that distract and redirect enemies into a more favorable situation.

Sorta, they'll be more dependable than me, but I'll have crits and debilitating injury, together we will become a blender. [editline]13th June 2016[/editline] But I do have enough GP to start with a maid outfit so I should be good
