We don't plan on adding any of that to Ins. The bundle was purely to build the playerbase.
Hey, aren't you an artist on Due Process, or am I mixing up your avatar with someone else?
retextured the mk18 using the cs go's m4a4 for reference because the original one was really really shiny
I got a key from a friend in Eve, hoooly shit this game is good, i remember really enjoying back when it was a mod but godamn it responds so well, very much reminds me of project reality.
Hey, aren't you an artist on Due Process, or am I mixing up your avatar with someone else?
Same guy.
I love how the insurgent announcer sounds so unsure at times. "You'll watch my back, right?"
i like the one where you're the last man standing and he goes 'so, youre the last one. welp cya' or something to that effect
you know there are soviet skins for sf.
because molle and baseball caps were popular among motostreloks in 1988 ... really dude, just because some dude managed to slap a flora pattern on the security model doesn't mean it "works"
yeah well never mind that some dude made stargate skins for sf http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=346954220&searchtext=stargate [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/35231100235419998/92DA2F44FB3D57AA7A071FCEC9443DFCD2B9790A/[/t] has custom hands as well [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/35231100235426198/58E8B005769B2ED074A9E0B5F8045EBE3B689907/[/t]
I was just playing that game mode where you have to destroy the ammunition caches of the enemy team while defending your own and also trying to cap the middle point at the same time. My team kept rushing out, leaving me to defend our two caches alone. In two of the rounds, I killed a lot of hostiles, but they managed to blow it anyway because my team was either dead or off somewhere trying to snipe. In the third round, I flanked around the insurgents and killed four from the middle of the map. I then went on the offense, trying to kill the last on their team, and then I just got kicked, because apparently the guys who kept rushing did not want to wait for me killing off the last enemies so they could re spawn in another round. I am nothing short of disappointed. I seriously expected the community of this game to be better than this. I was not even camping the slightest bit or dragging the round out or anything, I kept moving around and getting kills from new positions. I had a 10/2 K/D ratio and was the best player by far on the security forces. Why are they even playing a game mode with no re spawns if they do not want to wait?
^don't play pvp
^don't play pvp
So ignore a huge chunk of the game?
if it ends in nothing but bitching and whining, yes. also, those stargate skins are really awesome. would be neat to see some jaffa insurgents [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/541886693746413113/2CFDC56A6AEAC55241EDCCAB1A98C12DA93CC706/[/t]
Just gauge your team carefully when playing PVP-- if everyone's bum-rushing a single objective, dying, and leaving it to the last 2 people alive, I have no qualms about leaving then and there.

Alot of the playerbase is playing in a shitty careless way, and the humblebundle, as great as a gift it is from the devs, did not really help that. Way too many people just disregard planning ahead and using the environment. It is why a few people in the right spot can overwhelm the whole enemy team. It is different when you play with proper teammates, which is why we made a group to play in.
PvP has been a lot of fun for me. I forgot there was AI in the game. If you can get a lobby of friends together its a good laugh, running about with 6 other dudes makes for some great team play.
What is the 20 and the Icon represent? im dumb and havn't figured it out yet.
Do you mean the supply tokens with which you can supply yourself?
Is it my computer or does anyone else have problems with Insurgency minimizes? Occasionally it will minimize, then I'll bring it back up and it'll "reset" (corpses will fall and sometimes the scoreboard doesn't show people as being on the squad). It usually does this twice then seems stable. I validated my files and it downloaded a few but I had this problem before and after.
Think that's a problem with the Source engine, I get hangs as well.
^don't play pvp
What do you define "PVP" as? Just playing against other people? For me that's the entire point of playing semi-realistic tactical shooters, so that's the same as just saying "Don't play the game if you don't want to get kicked." Because these people were seriously bad, I was leading our team with twice as many points as the guy in 2nd place. They kicked me because they apparently didn't want anyone on their team playing to win the match, they just wanted to play TDM. I'm just not a fan of the instant gratification way of game play that many online games have been boiled down to. You have to constantly be in action with points and numbers flashing on the screen when you do anything. There can never be silence or calm, calculated moves, there has to be constant action at all times.

They're absolutely awful. I once saw a teammate get votekicked by the other team because he was too damn good for them to handle. Not cheating or being cheap, just good. Another time I saw a team votekick a guy from the other team so they could win; he was the last one on the team and could technically cap an objective and so his being alive was preventing them from winning so they took the shitty way out and booted him. [editline]11th December 2014[/editline]
^don't play pvp
You get shit-for-brains people in co-op too, the ones who take up a good role and then rush in and die within a minute of spawning.
I got vote kicked and banned yesterday for using 'rate of fire hacks' I was carrying the team with an m1a1 and that was somehow impossible i guess

I'm already a member of the FP group. I should probably just ask there when I want to play a game. Often, it's just very spontaneous, and I don't know how long I am able to play. Funnily enough, even when playing like a complete idiot with weed skins and dubstep music replacements I still manage to get ridiculous scores like 30/3.

A Friday evening or Saturday event would probably be best. I'd totally be down for an FP game at some point. I like to switch it up between the ISIS victory music and the "remove kebab" ending music, but I couldn't stand using that sanic running sound mod for more than like three games.

Team not pushy enough, thinks they can outlast double the waves the enemy team has. Opposite team starts to feel cocky and moves in closer between our spawn and objectives. "omg they are spawncamping" Really.. :/? Meanwhile I'm stacked up against every objective, lobbing C4 and flashbangs into caps and clearing them out.. all by myself.. I love the new look insurgency has, however I wish more of the original community survived to help it achieve the great standard it had in mod days.
now's the time to play the game because once you figure out the proper playstyle you'll realize insurgency is far from a tactical shooter and is literally counter strike with iron sights
ehh Tactics aren't necessarily required to be a good player, but they are required to a small extent to actually win games, at least on the gamemodes I usually frequent. And completely skipping objectives doesn't exactly seem characteristic of a good player imo.
you could spend thirty seconds trying to capture a point, but why stick around when your team is already capturing it? that's what makes me mad. if i'm a lone ranger on a point then obv i'll stick around until it's captured, but the second someone from my team gets on it then there's no reason to stick around. that time sitting around to capture the objective could be spent running to the next one it's not so much "skipping" as it is constantly being on the move
How did I get Insurgency in my inventory? Was it given out to its owners as a bonus or something?
