Contact is a terribly designed map for Push. It's LOL worthy for the terrorist.

Why would you even need something this big
.357 magnum isn't really that big. It's a high powered pistol round, but definitely nothing too extreme. Most grown males can shoot it comfortably.

Help, the screen has been taken over by a scope

reminded of the akm scopes in pr those things were ass massive
I never get it when folks use those optics in games like Ins, the max range on doesn't go past 100m on even the largest maps..

Sniping is fun tho (with a bipod at least)

tell that to sinjar and buhriz
Get yourself a nice long scope and you have map control (except for up close). Some people play the game like a hardcore twitch shooter, which to me honestly ruins the aspect of tactical gameplay.
i never use zoomed optics but i'll use holo on sec guns
any optics on AKs are haram

It's not only that, it's also deafmute and uncoordinated teams. It's a shame that the only way to enjoy decent teamplay seems to be the 5vs5 PUGs, which again almost turns it into CS (which is a bad thing imo).
The galil is a nice weapon
[editline]31st October 2015[/editline]
I mowed down a huge cluster of kebabs thanks to the drum mag
All the new weapons I've tried are fun as hell. The Sterling is super cool, especially the sound. The revolver is alright if you can afford the quick loader, and the Galil is just a beast. I also like the new grenade mechanics but I have killed myself plenty of times by holding molotovs for too long with LMB.
I found the damage on the Sterling a bit too puny for my liking, but absolutely loving the Galil. Would be rather nice if an RK-95 replacement mod was made for it, since they're mechanically almost identical.
the sterling is way more difficult than it needs to be to use. it just pops all over town. it's definitely the only gun in the game that sucks at range too, since the mp5 can headshot a mile away in comparison
[editline]1st November 2015[/editline]
i mean don't get me wrong i use it almost EXCLUSIVELY now (throw on an aimpoint and only hipfire to emulate ultimate stormtrooper tactics) but it's definitely a tier below all other primary weapons which is unfortunate since the sterling should be an utter machine
i disagree, i was wrecking shit left and right with the sterling before, i did better with that than the galil.
maybe it's because i know it's the stormtrooper rifle and it feels ironic that i'm hitting my targets.
The sterling is difficult to use at range but is still one of the most fun weapons. I also use a mod to turn to the MP5 into a MAC-10 and holy fuck for some reason that makes it an absolute blast to use.

Oh yeah because what's the max distance on that?
You can easily shoot folks with irons on those :/

I'm an irons guy for most guns but some of the rifles just benefit from a red dot or holo to increase the chance of fitting the whole target in the frame.

It sucks that they removed the text of how much each item weighs.
is there a guide anywhere that shows how to create weapon sound packs for Insurgency? All I'm finding are outdated tutorials
