I'd like to play this game, but it crashes just after 5 seconds of it being open.
Mine is worse. I might have it open for 5-15 minutes, then it suddenly crashes. The only way I can play it is on my iMac, instead.
I'd like to play this game, but it crashes just after 5 seconds of it being open.
yeah for some reason after it changed from beta to full release it is now unplayable for me. just crashes every time, sucks
Works perfectly fine for me, never had a problem
I wish you could set native languages on for insurgents. It'd be neat hearing them talk in arabic :v:
Anyone who finds it crashing, add -windowed to launch options, someone told me this when I had that problem
I'm really interested in this game but I don't think that I can it that well. It already requires 4 gb ram as a minimum.
Finally all of my crap TF2 items and steam cards are being useful. Sold a bunch of stuff and I'm now up in 8.7€ in sales. So I can buy the game much cheaper. :v:
I'm really interested in this game but I don't think that I can it that well. It already requires 4 gb ram as a minimum.
I didn't think I could run it either but turns out it's just source engine If you Han run csgo then you're golden
Sounds like this might actually be good. I played Insmod a bit here and there back in the day and enjoyed it as long as I had a good team. Maybe I'll pick this up.
I managed to sell enough to get the game for free. Played it for a bit, great stuff. Reminds me of counter strike but it actually takes more than twitch reflexes to kill someone.
I didn't think I could run it either but turns out it's just source engine If you Han run csgo then you're golden
I bought it and honestly it runs like crap on my pc, despite running go really smoothly maxed out. The game feels really sluggish. I get around 50 to 60 frames per second but it still feels awkward. Furthermore the game doesn't look that great to be honest, even when I tweak around the settings, it doesn't change my performance that much. It's playable but really annoying. Source usually runs fine for me.
^ I never get this, I seriously use 6 year old hardware except for my vidyacard which is 2 years now.. and everything runs fine.. like old Source. 40 fps or something, never below it.
The thing that confuses me the most is that fraps shows that the game runs always at 50-60 fps which is totally fine for me. But when you play the game it doesn't feel like that much, the sluggishness feels like 25-30 fps or so. Some people at the steamforums report similiar issues.
There's got to be some reason for that because the game is smooth for me (Max settings) and it looks beautiful to be honest. The graphics and style they used for the game usually make me forget it's even a source engine game.
Are there many populated Australian/New Zealand servers?

Smaller maps work like a charm, so I guess that bigger maps are the issues.
Are there many populated Australian/New Zealand servers?
There's a fair few, yeah.
Every VIP in this game thinks they're a Navy SEAL pointman or something and that their job is to rush ahead of the team into the enemy ambush. Every. Fucking. Time.
Every VIP in this game thinks they're a Navy SEAL pointman or something and that their job is to rush ahead of the team into the enemy ambush. Every. Fucking. Time.
second time i played vip i was the vip and had no idea (i didn't realize vips only get a silenced pistol) i ran straight into the crowd and died in about 3 seconds from then on i personally protected the vip and guided him around the map to win
Does anybody else have this problem where they are kicked from basically ANY server after like 3/4 seconds because the connection timed out? There's like zero lag at first, then it just fucking freezes and the connection times out. I have this with basically any source game and it's pissing me the fuck off.
My game is stuttering every second or so.. it's weird. Had trouble logging in to steam before that, said I was not connected to the internet.
Smoke effects make me lag pretty badly, but everything else runs smooth, guess I'll have to turn down effects anyways though.
Really enjoying this game at the moment, hope they add more maps some times in the future. Can we all agree that ministry is best map and peaks (or heights) is the worst?

My personal favorite map would probably have to be District though.
I love Peak and Heights.. although I'm not too fond with sniping teammates on these maps. On a side note, I kinda wish we had more physics items laying around like tables and chairs.. Also wtf happened to useable doors?
I remember the first gameplay footage of the stand-alone version being pretty bad. Looks like it's become much, much better
Maybe this game would be fun if it didn't crash every 5 fucking minutes it's worse than Fallout, atleast I can get a solid 2 hours in before I have a slight problem

They really need to remove/change the security player model that wears dark pants, a t-shirt and a cap. He looks so much like an insurgent.
They should make the Capture point markers and the markers on teammates a little bit easier to see
