OH, I just remembered I made a really oddball park once, one ride had the exit directly connected to the entrance, I placed a 'no passing' sign on the path leading to the main pathway so they were forced to enter the ride for all eternity [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] Another ride was just a giant crashfest

Well that's who he's based off Doesn't take a genius to figure out who Bush Clinton is an homage to :downs:
I love it, but some things are bad, like the removal of killing people.
I agree, the game needs to go down a different path. Make it more darker instead of more child friendly. Would be fucking cool to call for secret police forces to kill everyone in the park because you need to close it to build a ride! [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] HOWEVER You do got a sniper rifle in "RCT3 WILD" expansion and you can shoot people, but they will just blow it off like it was dust.
I wonder if ENB will function nicely to RCT3
Only bloom works: http://rctdb.com/beta/realistic-bloom-mod-v001-beta/
Haha, man I managed to get a 25 intensity on a RCT2 wooden coaster.
Above 10 intensity is doing it wrong. There's a glitch that propels your car at the speed of fucking sound when it returns to its station on first circuit and you get like 70 intensity and nausea Excitement in coasters is a challenge because you can do as many flips and inversions and stuff as you want but theres a certain limit when it just starts to plummet and it just turns to shit, kinda like adding sauce in a burger or salt and vinegar on chips. I'm trying to get the highest excitement possible. I cracked 10 on that coaster I put a pic up for, but i think after accidentally deleting some trees and whatnot.
I know who the homage is! He's a homage of Barack Obama!
Pfft, it's obviously Tony Blair.
Above 10 intensity is doing it wrong. There's a glitch that propels your car at the speed of fucking sound when it returns to its station on first circuit and you get like 70 intensity and nausea
I know, but I like to make ridiculously intense coasters.
Man, I remember this game. I installed two booster coasters that went underground and then shot out of the plaza area at slight angles so they passed each-other in midair before exploding outside the walkway as an attraction. I've got to get this game again.

Your researchers discover atomic powered rides and you now have to acvicely kill Vampires with your rollercoasters?

Then there was the center of my park, and they passed just above the buildings there, like this: X = building, | \ / - are coaster parts. --------- /XX XX\ With motherfucking fireworks timed as well.
Open source RCT in development over here! http://www.freerct.blogspot.co.uk/
Open source RCT in development over here! Also trivia: The reason why the RCT games are a bitch to mod for (The originals 1 & 2) is because Sawyer HATED modding. He released series of patches to prevent it.
Sawyer just hated the idea of a Sandbox mode, didn't he? I don't think he liked people making things in his game that were better and more creative than what he had originally put in the game.
Fuck, I can only find my expansion disc :(
Big shame though, i bet there could be a huge modding community to the RCT series if it was moddable (With that i mean that you can eventually add your own coasters and fine-tune the graphics of RCT3)

I still try to defend the content Frontier made for RCT3 because many people with no knowledge of game design or modeling create "better" versions of the things that are already good/perfect ingame. Lately there was someone who replaced all details of the corkscrew coaster texture with plain colors and he got praised to heaven just like everybody else when they present their poop. There are a whole lot of B&M coaster cars with a ridiculously high polycount and horrible "realistic" HD textures. Some things like the streamlined monorail, the miniature train or the Giga-coaster really looked ugly ingame but they have got some good replacements already. The rest doesn't need that in my opinion.
Big shame though, i bet there could be a huge modding community to the RCT series if it was moddable (With that i mean that you can eventually add your own coasters and fine-tune the graphics of RCT3)
Umm ... there is a big community and you can add your own coasters?! The tools are not complicated either they almost feel like official modding tools.
Anyone want RC2? GOG.com edition, PM me.
RCT avatars anyone? Gonna bump this thread because I'm getting back into this game, and that RCT owns.
Thread revive Bragging again, this is the highest excitement I've got in a coaster
Wow RCT3's wooden roller coasters look ugly. Isn't there a custom scenery thing that lets you replace those supports? [editline]16th July 2012[/editline] Oh, and you guys know about RCT2's UCES, right?
bumping because it's a great game. Also, never underestimate CSOs. Seriously. Might remember this image, lost the save but i've decided to reincarnate it. Decided to make a fancy-ass park with that kind of half-city half-attraction thing as one of the zones. Building with no roof stores a flat ride, second building to the right has food, drink and toilet stalls inside it. Deliberately left a hole in the roof for a rollercoaster to go through.
I remember having the very first roller-coaster tycoon as a kid, borrowed it to friends and they used the CD as a teacup mat under, they ruined it, I remember how mad I was.
Who the ass uses a CD as a coaster? (no pun intended)

Were cars always in this game? Haven't played it in a while and I don't ever remember seeing parking lots.
Were cars always in this game? Haven't played it in a while and I don't ever remember seeing parking lots.
The cars are from the Soaked expansion pack. The parking lot is likely a mod, but it might be from the Wild expansion. Never played that one, though.
If only I could make brand new parks in RCT 2, Just starting with a small pathway. Impossible to recreate Universal Studios Orlando.
