There's always RCT3... Wasn't it here that someone mentioned a map pack for RCT3 with all of the original parks from 1 and 2?

Maan, playing Evergreen Gardens in RCT2 is amazing.
First time you play Evergreen Gardens you get overwhelmed But the second time. Oh man. So much space and so much potential
I still can't help but think, what kinda legal stuff it would take, for fans to be allowed to remake this game from scratch, like OpenTTD. Especially considering it's still not abandonware like TT and TTD is. [editline]12th February 2015[/editline] All in the sense of a non-profit version of course

Just how the fuck have i not known about OpenRCT until now ... I am so ashamed of myself.
it's not really been advertised i suppose. i've never really seen it being mentioned anywhere.
Yeah, afaik it's been pretty quiet. I've been subscribed to the RSS feed and I haven't heard a peep in a long time.
I used modded scenery. That's how.
Oh god, it still has the Six Flags parks. I live a half hour away from Great Adventure, this is gonna be a super nostalgia trip for me. I was terrified of coasters as a kid, I'd go into the Great Adventure campaign and watch the virtual versions of Skull Mountain and Nitro.
wait I live half an hour from Great Adventure too Yo Facepunch meetup at Great Adventure!
I love the Rollercoaster games, but I'm always having trouble building good looking stuff. My coasters look like shit and I can't build any good looking scenery. Looking at parks on the internet and then thinking about mine makes me sad.

I would always spend a lot of time on one coaster just for it to be to exciting :(
I really wish there was a co-op/vs/whatever mode on RCT1/2, I love building awesome parks but it sucks because I'm the only one who ever sees them :( [editline]15th February 2015[/editline] rctw better not suck [editline]15th February 2015[/editline]
wait I live half an hour from Great Adventure too Yo Facepunch meetup at Great Adventure!
... I live ~30 minutes from there too... [editline]15th February 2015[/editline] But I actually hate amusement parks
So are we all in NJ? Regardless, I don't think I ever made a good park. Ever. But this:
Some of my stuff from the other thread [t]http://puu.sh/fW8s7/e636428217.png[/t]
insipired me to reinstall.
best way to make decent looking rollercoasters is to copy real life coasters also most of the time the grand looking designs or parks you see online took weeks or months or years to create, and often they use either custom scenery or hacks to allow them to place multiple scenery objects on the same tile.
[t]http://puu.sh/fW8s7/e636428217.png[/t]
Despite i really want to, i hate doing paths any wider than just one-size width. It takes nothing for the damn guests to get lost.
Bayville, NJ represent My coasters always end up having low excitement and high nausea/intensity :|
Some of my stuff from the other thread [t]http://puu.sh/fW8s7/e636428217.png[/t]
Is that a custom scenario? Or is it one of the missions?
Is that a custom scenario? Or is it one of the missions?
Looks like the Create Your Own Six Flags Park scenario
Despite i really want to, i hate doing paths any wider than just one-size width.
From what I remember reading, that only happens in the original game, in 2 the pathfinding is improved enough that multitile paths are usable
I really can't say i've seen much improvement ...
I don't know why but I like to make one-way paths, wich doesnt work always :v:
