Is that a custom scenario? Or is it one of the missions?

Looks like the Create Your Own Six Flags Park scenario
Yeah, it's create your own Six Flags.
Despite i really want to, i hate doing paths any wider than just one-size width. It takes nothing for the damn guests to get lost.
Guests getting lost, and crowded became a massive huge problem for the park, to the point where I would have to close the park and get everyone to leave every so often because of the overcrowding. The park has expanded quite a bit since the picture, but it's still a huge problem :|

[editline]16th February 2015[/editline] That's actually my biggest pet peeve about RCT1/2. To watch how guests could sometimes spend too god damn long, in a simple 3x3 walk-around or even a more simpler 2x2, and they'd finally walk out of it, to go right back in and do the same thing. Thats like the only thing keeping me from making something that actually looks more real to what real parks tend to do when they build walkways and path system.
I just finished my first scenario ever in RCT2. Crazy Castle. I love just scrolling back once the park reaches 1000 visitors and watching all those tiny dudes happily walking around. [editline]17th February 2015[/editline] My 3000th post is about Rollercoaster, awesome!

I've been a huge fan of RTC in the past but this new one coming to PC, I can't help but remain sceptical about it.
They do have a huge history to live up to, that's for sure.

I hated RCT3 when I was little but I was stupid and did so for silly reasons Replaying it for the first time yesterday and I can see a LOT of improvements over RCT2, though it just doesn't grab me as much, and the lack of grid for terrain is a pain in the ass.
Aaaahahahahahahaha
How can you even get that high, and can the game even support that?
Aaaahahahahahahaha
You can't just post that and then not show us it in action.
How can you even get that high, and can the game even support that?
8 Cars Per Trainer, and apparently so.
You can't just post that and then not show us it in action.
Yes i can. Because Fraps don't even seem to think it's an actual game recordable. [vid]http://a.pomf.se/ssjryg.webm[/vid] Edit: Also, after doing this kind of thing, the vehicles break down a lot. Make sure to have lots of mechanics for your vehicles.
god your park looks so much nicer than mine mine is always just a bunch of random walkways with trees and statues and rides bunched up around the entrance.
god your park looks so much nicer than mine mine is always just a bunch of random walkways with trees and statues and rides bunched up around the entrance.
From what I know about myself and others here, RCT definitely seems like a game to challenge both sides of the brain. I'm a little more management oriented myself :)
Oh man, looking at RCT4's pictures, I'm really hoping there's a system similar to spore's building creator to build custom shops. If they really wanted a step forward they could go deeper into the "stock" thing (you know, how shops required upkeep for stock in previous games) and allow you to choose what it'd sell (as opposed to picking "burger bar" and then cosmetically designing it), but the drawback would be pricier to be able to stock different things - so whatever appliances you decide the building will have will affect the price of the construction, e.g. you need freezers to be able to sell ice cream, which would tack $100 onto the shop price, or a grill which would tack another $300 which could allow you to grill burgers/hotdogs/whatever you decide to stock. And then of course the upkeep to support that. Seafood stalls shouldn't be very cheap to upkeep, but they should sell for high price to make up for it. Etc. So you should be able to construct a super-stall that sold every food and drink and souvenirs, but it would probably cost something like $5000 plus insane upkeep :v: The economic system in RCT1/2 was always interesting to me so I'm curious if they'll be expansion on that in the next installment
Aaaahahahahahahaha
I did something like that with a monorail, for some reason the intensity rating was quite low and excitement high, other than the constant breaking down it was by far the most popular ride in my park.
How can you even get that high, and can the game even support that?
643^-1 is actually a very small number, roughly 0.0016
643^-1 is actually a very small number, roughly 0.0016
can't tell if being satirical or serious the units are in kmh^-1, which is km/h - not the number
I've purchased Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 on gog.com they seem to have there's 70% off offer on all rollercoaster tycoon games. I 'm not sure for how long tho... I guess it's time to begin mr bone's wild ride :v: Edit: On the other hand does anybody knows how to run Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 in windowed mode on Windows XP? There seems to be some kind of directx hack that turns game into windowed mode but it does not seems to work with Windows XP. Sound works but screen does not shows up :v:

Year 14, still haven't opened for guests, still working on it ever whenever i can muster up any creativeness, and i'm not even remotely completed with it. Today i bothered adding the water-stream-thing around the center'ish bit. [t]http://i.imgur.com/XPEFGRt.jpg[/t]
Just a no-money sandbox scenario i made long ago
Do you mind sharing it? Also, how do I make coasters that aren't butt ugly with a low excitement rating?
Do you mind sharing it? Also, how do I make coasters that aren't butt ugly with a low excitement rating?
I'm no expert, but excitement rating can be increased by making the cars change speed, ie really hilly bits where the cars go fast down the hill but then practically stop at the top, only to accelerate down the next hill again. Stuff like that has always gotten me really high excitement ratings. Going through loops really fast or making sharp turns at high speed do nothing but increase nausea and intensity.
