the scenery that they add looks pretty out of place and iirc some of the scenarios weren't tested properly. But if you can get them for cheap then yeah
although most places you buy rct2 from now only offer rct2 + both expansions, do you have an old disc copy?
I own the old disc version of rct2.

googling how much the discs for the expansions cost it'd probably be better to (if you did want the expansions) buy the whole game again off of steam or somewhere
they arent vital by any means, not sure if either included like patches with the content or if you need them to install custom scenery objects (wouldn't think so)

Thanks. I asked because someone posted a custom scenario on here earlier and it said that I needed the expansions to play it.
If I can ask you another question, should I get the steam version of rct1 or not?

I'd only really buy rct1 if you have fond memories of it - there are remakes of the old rct1 scenarios for rct2 floating around somewhere online, and besides that rct2 does have a few more features that rct1 doesn't that make it really hard to go back to rct1 after playing 2 for so long
it is pretty cheap, though, so if it goes on sale it's alright to pick up.
Doesn't really have any themeparkiness or anything interesting yet but eh.

I really like the Mega screenshot (take a screenshot of the whole park) and the high resolution option in that, looking forward to that project.
Here a mega screenshot test that i cropped because the original was 11528 x 5888px.

Also, should we talk about Planet coaster here ?

I meant to check "agree", I think if it's about the RCT series, we should. Also, that is awesome.

Oh my fucking god.
It's glorious. And it's only the beginning!
WHY AM I SO GOD DAMN EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS PROJECT?!

Let's start with the following: It's very intriguing.

That "pre-order now" gives me a super bad taste in my mouth. There's not one single screenshot, or a second of gameplay video anywhere to be found, and they'd like you to pre-order it?
have you guys seen this?

rctw devs are actually trying to fix stuff

I'm still feeling very unconvinced.

Why
If anyone would fancy these, here they are:

Oh yeah, they finally got a website up!

And i'm having too much god damn fun with the cheats in OpenRCT

Felt a smidge creative today. I'm fairly happy with this one.

Despite the unstable builds i'm build (b1040) i'm using, OpenRCT is damn useful for scenery and landscape work now. Making a big stew of random gardens and bushes is great, since the feature from putting down forest randomly in a big area now works in ordinary gameplay.
I can't believe it finally happened.
Now all we need is a co-op.
I can't believe it finally happened.

Why in gods name would any RCT ever need co-op?!
Anyways -

[t]http://i.imgur.com/ZH4YVSl.png[/t]
I accidentally expanded the initial garden a little, not sure if i should keep it ...
Why in gods name would any RCT ever need co-op?!
Because it's probably fun and chaotic as fuck to do coop RCT.
Just don't go nuts.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/4irNKhr.png[/t]
Maan, there's not even a toilet in that park!
Now i'm just waiting for them to implement a drag and drop tool, when you'd be putting down fences and whatnot, either to cover one side of a path, or both sides on a one-width path, instead of having to individually place each fence piece at a time.
... And maybe also for them to make the "random-tree-brush"-thing something you could change in size with numbers, just like you now can with the landscaping, and scenery deleter thing.
Man, that would be fucking amazing.
More important guest getting somewhere faster instead of getting stuck on a plaza and fixing most bugs the game had.
And much needed path finding upgrade would be god damn glorious ...
and for the love of god get the handymen better detection of vomit
and for the love of god get the handymen better detection of vomit
... What, like they're gonna home onto any puddles of vomits? I mean, the moment they walk over it, they clean it.
... What, like they're gonna home onto any puddles of vomits? I mean, the moment they walk over it, they clean it.
Handymen do have a slight range of detection, probably a 4x4 tile or something.
by the way

One of my deepest wishes, if they'd ever get around of the path finding upgrade, would be to utilize paths just a little bit more.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/CRrcWIS.png[/t]
If you make a plaza or large path area, it just looks a bit sad when they just ominously walk in straight lines, when there's alot of space around them nobody is using.
I really hope they'd do something like this, assuming it would be possible in the sense of programming.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/YpGjQXK.png[/t]
They'd still use the default way of using the path, but as the area would get crowded, or they'd enter a area with a wider path, they'd naturally spread out a little more. And bear in mind, it's just a mock-up.
