I know I shouldn't be excited for RCTW but I can't help it.
I'm going to be at the press day at Gamescom, RCT World is going to have its gameplay reveal there and Frontier Developments (Planet Coaster) is also having their booth over there. So there is that. Since they are the developers of RCT 3 i got more hope on Planet Coaster then the (pretty chaotic) development of RCT World

It is going to be interesting to see both Planet Coaster and RCT World. I just hope the focus is also more on park managing, creating themed environments (that influence/amaze guests if done properly) and to fine tune non-rollercoasters. Like in RCT2 you had several modes for different rides that changes how intense a ride is. Like different 3D movies or a different program for the Top Spin to run so that it spins less and therefor makes people less sick.
Even Parkitect is shaping up nicely. I am very excited for these simulators.
Loving the fact that CS will be available through Steam Workshop from launch.

My current solution has been closing the park and making everyone leave each ingame year, but it'd rather solve it some other way. I could build out everything less squished together but the park doesn't look as nice like that :frown: edit: i think this is affecting my park rating too, there's mountains in my park rating graph edit 2: i think i found the source of the problem. somehow about 40 people are stuck on a path underground. i have no clue how they got there, but they did. OpenRCT2 still has issues with peep pathfinding. Somebody brought up the issue a couple weeks ago or so and was having the same problem as you with regular old above ground paths.

Although i can't wait for them to improve RCT2's pathfinding, the amount of people who exit a ride, walk past a first aid station and then vomit on the floor is starting to drive me mad

I might be the only person in existence who's played RCT so much yet can't make a nice looking park to save my life.
I feel bad whenever people hate on RCTW, it's clear they are at least trying to make people happy. Modding support, responding to criticisms is stuff I wish we saw more often.

Just because they mention a feature, like modding support, doesn't automatically mean i'm gonna like it. I'm absolutely neutral until the game is out, or some actual gameplay shows up.
OpenRCT2 now has a multiplayer menu in the development build :toot: Fairly certain this means there's some form of working mp.
