I REALLY hope parks can get bigger than that
Using Unity they have no excuse not to go at least 10x more than that.
I REALLY hope parks can get bigger than that
I'm 100% sure that is NOT the maximum size of a park.

This might actually be really good
This... actually looks promising. Bravo, they actually made things better after that really dismal first look.
Did multiplayer get scraped? I haven't heard anything about it in awhile.
Did multiplayer get scraped? I haven't heard anything about it in awhile.
It's in the version I have (0.0.3 develop build 1167), but it's very buggy. I tried it by running the process twice and couldn't keep them connected for more than a few minutes. I think building a custom roller coaster drops the player from the host. Building paths seemed to work fine, but I didn't test anything else.

So I've been playing a lot of RCT 3 lately, and I've also been replaying Myst. Naturally, I made a Myst themepark :v: Most of the buildings lead to underground rides (like a planetarium underneath the planetarium). I had to compromise between being accurate, and being a functional park, and I think I found a decent balance.
I think he's talking about RCTW, not OpenRCT2
Yeah i was. Sorry, I should have specified.
Anyone know how to get unlimited lift/launch speed and how to force peeps to ride everything, regardless of intensity? I need this for reasons.
Anyone know how to get unlimited lift/launch speed and how to force peeps to ride everything, regardless of intensity? I need this for reasons.
It's in OpenRCT2's cheat menu IIRC.
This is making want to try to get a Vive
Heard its better than Oculus Rift.
Final versions are going to be different though so it's too early to judge.
I didn't realize Rollercoaster Tycoon world had changed developer for a 3rd time. I just found out it's gone from Area52 to to Nvizzio Creations. After so many problems, i'm not expecting it to be much good but LGR says the new one seems alright from what he played:

I'm not sure if I want to like RCTW or not. It has just about every feature I could ever want, but it just seems really bland and lifeless.
With Atari's recent releases in mind, I'd approach RCTW with caution.

If this is a success it might be able to bring Atari back to relevancy.

Looking good ! The Steam Workshop support guys, prepare for the Stalin Park! However, why do developers continue to do "hey look i'm pointing at your screen 'cause you fucked that shit up" shots... We got it the first time.
I was watching the video and thinking "I really hope we can make our own themes/stalls" and fucking boom Can't wait for them nude mods :v:
Hate to nitpick but that video's script sounds like it was written for some massive multimedia cashcow franchise that's trying to leave stagnation. Stuff like "What hasn't been done before in an RCT game" and "Rollercoast Tycoon World really is the next generation of Rollercoaster Tycoon, it brings the franchise forward" is kind of a 'no shit?' statement considering the series has had three main entries and the last of those was 11 years ago. Kids born at game release are in 6th grade now, the computer scene has changed so drastically since then that it'd be impossible for this not to be something completely new. [editline]21st September 2015[/editline] I'm hyped as hell for this game
I think they're just explaining to people that might not really understand that this game is gonna be fucking great in today's technology

Also it's gonna be out December 10th, so yeah.
$60 for the complete edition is pretty steep for me, but then I'm used to buying stuff on Steam where you get fifteen games in a series for a nickel. Will probably wait for the Winter Sale, unless early feedback is super good.
