what's so bad about that shot other than the seats clipping with the passengers' thighs?

"It's not Planet Coaster, that's what's bad about it!" - Fanboys
I definately prefer PC but that does not mean everything in RCTW sucks. I mean this shot alone tells us they have a desert environment, the have roads, and parking lots. PC fanboys will make up a reason for hating it, even if the game would turn out better in the end, I guess. If PC gets the same setting and stuff later, they'll be like "Suck it, Atari! #chefbefbelef". It's annoying.

RCTW went through a hell development and now its finally in a more playable state but seriously if you compare it to PC then you can see that PC does a lot of things better. RCTW gets hated now for doing anything at all at the moment.
Also its no secret that the developers need to rush this the fuck up because its taking way too long for Atari which is perhaps why they did the Early Access thing to obtain some more cash.
I don't want to be that PC fanboy but I really feel that if Atari hasn't gotten their shit together this far into development they aren't going to.
Early access may be a big mistake

The picture doesn't look bad except that dude on the left looks like a mannequin

The object building thing seems neat too, hope they add objects that are versatile for that reason
Sooooo.... anybody get the Early Access of RCTW? It came out today. Reviews are not pleasing. But I'm not gonna let the reviews of steam put me down, Atari already did that for them.

it's a disaster, they clearly have no intention of fixing or finishing it

Their forums are flooded with either PC fanboys or people asking for a refund/complaining about the game, also the developers officially stated that the game is 80% finished while i thought it would more like be 40-50.
Here's some gameplay:

Definitely doesn't look great so far. Lots of bugs still, and the style they went with looks bleh. I do like the coaster stations though, everything else is just not good at all.
Jesus that was bad.

One point i suddenly noticed where planet coaster wins me over is that i can put down a simple "Burger" shop window and build the actual store around it just how i would want it, i can have different variants of the same store while in RCTW you would for example always would have the static buildings and seeing that there are only 5 food/drink stalls i can see this becoming repetitive.
[editline]31st March 2016[/editline]
In the other hand, i am personally a fan of that when a coaster goes too wild that it flies off the tracks since it would give me something of a realistic limit, also would be nice if you can turn that feature on and off.
Snip I'm a stupid asshole and posted before I even watched the video
I don't think it looks good, but I feel bad for the RCTW devs. I mean given their previous projects this is not something they're used to doing and I bet they're giving it their all. But it's just not coming together and the timing with Planet Coaster is just awful.

"Hey you're that studio that's making those lego phone games for us, right? Make a 3D sandbox game to a legendary IP with user generated input and support"
I just noticed that RCTW is $5 more expensive than Planet Coaster... ($10 more if you preorder PC)

I've been messing with zero clearance in Open RCT2. You can do some pretty neat stuff with it. (When it reaches a switch track, the piece placed first takes priority.)
we should talk about RCT Classic
no sloped go-karts track and car ride related sloped tracks, it's quite a problem
and also about Dynamite Dunes' prebuilt Mine Coaster, found the ride stuck on one section (phew), i really need to figure out how to fix it

fond fans may recognise this coaster
colossus?
yes! you get a cookie B)
whats its rating tho?
6.5/8.9/4.6 :c

I can't for the life of me fathom how this works, video please.
Wow I'd love to see a moving picture of this!
I tried it just to see if this shit would actually work, but i'm starting to sense it's a bit hit and miss.
[VID]https://my.mixtape.moe/kkfurb.mp4[/VID]
And it keeps going like that, despite it was set for a single circuit.
I'm using the reversed launched shuttle through cheats for this particular ride (since it doesn't have this mode standard). And using regular RCT building restrictions, that would work just fine.
But i think the catch is, when the train doesn't come back through the point where it left the station, as it should in reversed shuttle, that seems to have turned the ride in the video, into Mr. Bones' Wild Ride in a sense.
But it's late and i'm to tired to bother check what else works and doesn't work.
i made some food court designs, i found out that guests avoid dead ends
