What an awful UI.
A flat port of RCT1 like the Zoo Tycoon DS game would work better.[/QUOT
TIL there is a zoo tycoon for DS!

I bought it when it came out, was very... mediocre, but it did the job.

I'm using the GOG version
The .pcx files are saved in the game's root directory for me.
But then again I'm using a retail version.

If you don't get it read the 4th page.
I haven't played this for years. I got it about 10 years ago in a pack with Railroad tycoon (boring as hell) and transport tycoon (slightly boring but ok). I think I still have it somewhere.
I also got RCT3 a little while back but I hardly played it. I don't know why, it just didn't feel the same.
I probably played the original to death.

No terrain blending and only one save file was the only difference, I think?
i have a copy of rc2 some where
Aaah, I remember the hours of endless fun building coasters in RCT1 and 3.
But rct3 wasn't really fun without having a ton of addons and mods, so you could create you
dream park.
Anyone got a good site for rct3 addons, like scenery and custom coasters?
I've got a copy of RCT2 sitting next to my computer and I'm trying to resist the urge to reinstall it.
Bought RCT2!!!

Why resist it?
;)

I'd really like to know this, too.
What are your guys tips to make a ride not have a huge queue and actually get tons of money fast without taking out a huge loan?

Depends on the type of ride. If you are looking to make a roller coaster that will rake in money, don't build the casual shit like the pony ride, which holds 10-20 people max, makes almost no money, and causes huge queues. Go for designs like the vertical drop, twister, wooden, and giga coaster, which hold a shitload of people to begin with and can hold more if you make well designed block chain lifts and a porportional station platform.
I made this 5 years ago, i dont understand how i made it to 1.9 million view.

Any good and cheap design strategy for junior roller coaster? (RCT2)
I have trouble to get 5+ excitement without scenery.
Junior rollercoasters are hard to make particularly fun because of the lack of options in track design
Judicious use of underground portions and the 'headchopper' effect willl help a bit, but honestly, if you can get 5+ excitement on a junior coaster, that'll be just fine. Save your money for the big guns

Headchopper effect? I don't heard that before. Explain me please?

Do really big steep drops and rises, but only so that there's just enough speed for the coaster cars to make it over the hill, then do more drops, and be sure to use those vertical turns or whatever, i used to do that and I remember getting 6+ excitement in junior coasters
Headchopper effect? I don't heard that before. Explain me please?
The "oh shit my head is going to get knocked off" effect on some rides when you go under shit.
